Femininity- the struggle of wanting to express yourself but having to be 'serious' to be respected (could do about anything really, just what the first thought was about)
Consumerism culture- being told we should want to buy things, until "one day youre waiting for the bus outside a gas station and you want to go in a buy something, even though you dont need anything, you never do you just want to buy. To reach that feeling" (thought of this like 20 mins ago. Whole reason I'm making this poll)
War (soldier)- suffering in the trenches, ww1 disillusionment kind of thing, i have a bunch of drafts like this from when we did ww1 in school
War (innocent)- suffering in the past and present from the effects of war, lots of refugee and asylum seeker stuff too, I have a few drafts of this from when we did class stuff
Flood- technically a collection of short stories that im going to write, the poem is a current wip about what would happen if the world flooded slowly (like a prologue to the short stories)
Solitude Mountain- life from the perspective of a monk/highly religious person who secluded themselves on a mountain, and is trying to convince themselves it was a great decision and that they feel closer to god. No idea where id go with it but it sounds cool
Herd- a shepherd protecting their flock (idk when, old timey tho), focusing on innocence and protection, could end up being a huge metaphor for something I have not planned it yet
Fairy stories- when youre a kid playing in nature and you convince yourself that youre/the world is magical and it sort of is
