Fantasy Worlds Collide isn't just a story. It's a 29-year labor of love, a massive apocalyptic mythpunk universe, and the definitive collection of my creative heart. Converting nearly three decades of intricate worldbuilding, character arcs, and metaphysical lore into a structured Tumblr hub takes time, care, and a lot of behind-the-scenes organization.
While my main project files are steadily expanding and I'm constantly writing, I know navigating a sprawling multi-arc saga can be overwhelming for readers old and new. Whether you’ve been following my creative journey for years or you just stumbled onto my writeblr/FF7 space through my AU snippets and friend interactions, I want to give you a transparent look at what is coming to this blog over the next few months.
A Personal Note & Reality Check (for me): Before diving into the roadmap, I want to be honest with you all about where I’m at mentally. As many of you know I lost my grandmother last week, and the grief has been a heavy. I hardly sleep right now. Because of this, I honestly don't know exact timelines for when every piece of this roadmap will be finished. I'm giving myself grace to work through this project as I'm able, so please be patient with me as I pace myself through the grief.
Here is the strategic roadmap for how FWC, its lore, and my written musings will unfold across the blog.
Phase 1: Completing the Visual & Structural Foundation (The Hub & Pitch Pages)
Before diving deep into individual lore posts, the primary goal is finishing the official directory. You’ve likely seen the Pandemonix Pitch Pages and the core FFVII Gaia Hub details go live, but to complete the central axis of the saga, two critical pitch entries are currently in active production:
The Kilonova Pitch Page: A complete high-level breakdown of the metaphysical event that threatens to reset Creation. This pitch will establish the stakes, the spatial degradation of the Ethereal Nexus, and how characters like Bianca, Sephiroth, Genesis, Alexander, and Kayla collide as reality fractures.
The Godling Pitch Page: An introduction to the post-apocalyptic divine fallout and the birth of a new pantheon. This page highlights the ascension, identity struggles, and political friction of Aurora Moore (Godborn Queen of the Abyss) and Lucien Moore (Sovereign of Caelora) as they inherit a broken cosmos.
Getting these pitch pages formatted and posted will allow readers to easily browse the thematic scope, content flags, and character rosters of all four overarching arcs in one unified place.
Phase 2: Essential Lore Articles (The "Read First" Deep Dives)
Once the pitch framework is fully locked in, I will begin dropping standalone Key Lore Articles. These are foundational meta-posts designed to explain the internal logic and metaphysical mechanics of the FWC omniverse without requiring you to digest hundreds of thousands of story words all at once.

Phase 3: Systematic Arc Worldbuilding
Alongside the major meta-articles, I am systematically filling out the complete worldbuilding profiles across all four narrative branches (Pandemonix, FFVII, Kilonova, and Godling).
To ensure every realm and era feels fully realized, living, and grounded, each arc will receive detailed lore entries covering:
Commerce & Public Life: Trade systems, resource scarcity, black markets, and how ordinary citizens manage daily transactions under corporate or divine control.
Daily Life & Survival: Domestic routines, food security, housing, and the psychological coping mechanisms of populations living under the shadow of apocalyptic or cosmic threats.
Magic Systems & Taboos: The specific mediums used to draw power (S-cells, materia, divine pacts, ancestral rites), the severe physical burnouts involved, and the hard limits that magic cannot cross without collapsing local reality.
People, Customs & Rites: Cultural traditions, mourning rituals, religious/cultic devotion, and social etiquette between mortals, celestials, and hybrids.
Physical Geography & Environments: Atmospheric profiles, changing skies, landmark breakdowns (Shinra HQ, North Crater, The Iron Tower, subterranean sanctuaries), and environmental contamination.
Social & Institutional Hierarchy: Military ranks, religious orders, class dynamics, and corporate or infernal structures enforcing compliance.
Geopolitics & Cross-Realm Status: The overarching state of the world, inter-realm friction, and how much the general populace actually understands about the cosmic forces pulling the strings.

With all of that said, I am taking today completely off from writing, editing, or uploading anything to rest and reset, as I finished the Pandemonix pitch page. Tomorrow, I will begin picking things back up, starting with drafting the Kilonova and Godling pitch pages, as well as setting up those Writing Process category tags with three articles: one per category.

Now that I've finished posting everything for Whumptober (😮💨), I can focus on my usual WIPs again.
Top Priorities:
My first goal is writing/posting as much as I can for A Very Hullmark Yule. The holidays are coming up, and it would be really nice if I could finish that fic before the end of the year. I don't know if I'll manage it, but I can try. (If Hullmark ends up spilling over into early next year, I can live with that, I guess.)
Next goal is to get one more chapter of Compromise out before the end of the year. As a related stretch goal, I may also try to draft a few chapters ahead so I can hopefully get back into a regular rhythm of posting Compromise next year.
Lower Priority but Probably Doable:
I think I could wrap up Beneath Other Suns if I just sit down and churn out the rest of the chapters. The chapters aren't very long, and the story itself shouldn't be very long. It's just a matter of finding time to focus on BOS when I also need to work on Hullmark and Compromise.
My last writing goal for the year will be to finish Fish in the Frying Pan, the Oscar Tully cheating fic that I started during Whumptober. This one should be even shorter than Beneath Other Suns, so I could probably knock it out fairly quickly if I dedicate some writing time to it.
I'm not too fussed about needing to finish BOS or FitFP before the end of the year. But I do want to wrap them up before I concentrate on my other WIPs.
Those other WIPs are:
Your Mother's Last Grief (which I will put in the regular rotation alongside Compromise)
The Death of Clement Celtigar (which I may wait to work on until Compromise progresses to at least that point in the timeline)
Imperium (lower priority than Compromise and Last Grief, but it will get its turn in the rotation every so often)
Miscellanea:
I have been seriously thinking about looking for beta readers—although in my personal case, it might be more accurate to call them brainstorm partners and/or alpha readers. I'm not looking for a proofreader (although I always welcome corrections if there's a typo, grammatical error, etc.), but someone who will say things like "I think Jace would do XYZ in this scenario" or "Aemond seems way too emotionally liberated in this scene, maybe make him more repressed."
A beta reader would be especially helpful for Compromise, which is the fic I get the most stuck on, but I would probably ask a beta for feedback on my other HOTD works. If you might be interested in betaing, send me a DM and we can see if we're a good fit!
In the meantime, I really need to catch up on AO3 comments. I was prioritizing my health and writing/posting during October, so I haven't been able to dig into comments, but I will try to go through comments in the next few weeks.

Before anything else, I would like to say that I now have 2 new novels in the works which have taken up a lot of my time and I’m sure you’ve probably seen a few Pinterest boards for lmao. One of them (The Golden Facade) is based in New York and is about a girl (Mia Ellison) finding out that she's not who her parents raised her to be. The other novel (Zinnia Beach) is me taking all of my fanfiction and its fleshed-out characters and making it into a proper novel, changing the base plot ever so slightly so that it works out without running into copyright issues. I'm super excited about them both and will be posting more about them as time goes on.
Sadly, I will be taking a little bit of a break from the AUs so that I can wrap my head around both of my novels and my stories on here, but I do have some ideas for what's to come when I get around to them. Some of my Golden Facade characters have Pinterest boards already, but I do have some that I’ll be sharing soon that will be for Zinnia Beach. Zinnia Beach will include my OCs like Mick, Vivien, and the Murphy brothers as well as maybe Xander’s crew, and will be a bit different in a few ways because I’m taking a fanfiction and altering it, but I’m keeping it as similar as possible. Honestly, I can’t wait to publish that novel since I’ve wanted to make this story into an actual book for ages now and, the more I work on it, the happier I am with how far it’s come since 2015.
Now, aside from my novels, here are some of the story ideas I’ll be working on/posting here soon:
This first one probably isn’t much of a surprise, but I’m including it anyway. Most of these deleted scenes will probably be on the short side and won’t take long to get through, but there are a few that I’ll compile into one post since they all revolve around the same concepts or timing. Through the Valley was one AU that had a lot of things taken out for whatever reason and I can’t wait to share them with you!
Summer Lovin’ probably won't happen for a while since I have to do a lot of research and stuff for it, but the ideas and some of the storyboarding are there and I have been working on scenes here and there. Some things you'll see include Royce, Vivien, and Bentley being little shits, everyone being in love and refusing to admit it, and high-school drama that I'm so glad I was never a part of in school lmao.
Based on the song Cupid's Chokehold by Gym Class Heroes, this one-shot has been boiling in my brain for literal months now and is basically a compilation of a couple of my OCs (not spoiling as to who) telling their parents about the person they've fallen in love with, despite their parents not being alive to hear it - hence the title.
Same Trailer, Different Park is basically a mini-series of one-shots that I've wanted to do to flesh out the relationships between certain characters. Most of these circle around the idea of Vivien visiting 1962 for the summer, but there will probably be some that will add more of a backstory to other characters. Anyway, I have quite a few ideas for this already that I haven't started on, but this is more likely to appear sooner than anything else.
As you could probably guess from my Spotify playlist, my brain has compiled a list of story ideas just because of songs, lyrics, or even songs that I heard on TikTok that I just had to use for some reason. There are some theatre-related ideas, some that I can see if I switch the gender of the singer, and a few that I heard while playing a game and came up with a complete idea for. There are a handful of songs that aren't on the playlist either because I just haven't gotten around to adding them or the version I want to add just isn't on Spotify.
Finally, we have Scattered Screams. With a title like that, be very concerned. This is an AU in the same strand as Glory and Gore, but where Miles is too old to volunteer and the same goes for Mick. It will be a completely different arena and the other tributes will be different I will not be holding back in this story and, chances are, we'll see some beloved characters die off in some awful ways. Consider this a warning 🙃

so I got this free subscription thing (from “Novel Factory” go check them out) for novel planning and I thought I might share some of their info because some writers like myself can’t afford to buy advice ----- here are the first panels!
Now we've got a basic premise, which means we've got the beginnings of a story. It's time to give it a few more bones, and see how it starts to take shape.
Luckily for us, we don't have to grope around in the dark, guessing at what elements we should include and in what order, to create a gripping and satisfactory story with a good beginning, middle and end.
That's because there's already an established series of stages that the vast majority of popular stories contain.
It goes something like this:
Overview
Act 1
Introduction to the protagonist's world
Call to action
Crossing the threshold
Act 2
Mentor teaches the lead
First challenge
Temptation
Dark moment
Act 3
Final conflict
Return home
This set of stages can be interpreted in an infinite number of ways to create every story from The Lord of the Rings to The Matrix to The Lion King to The Da Vinci Code to Harry Potter to Star Wars to the Hunger Games to Twilight.
Next time you're watching a movie or reading a book, look out for the stages and try to identify the ways in which the author has portrayed them.
In order to create stages for your own story, you'll need to know a little but more about them, so here are brief summaries of each stage:
Act 1
Introduction to the hero's world
You set the scene, introduce your character and their normal life, just in time for them to...
Call to action
... be torn from it! Actually it's better if they're not torn, but have to commit to the decision themselves. In any case, the challenge is put forward. You can start building sympathy for your character by ensuring their decision is something the reader can identify with and / or respect.
Crossing the threshold
In order to ensure your lead has the pressure on and therefore your readers are hooked into wondering how they'll ever get out of this mess, it’s good if your hero crosses some kind of threshold that is difficult, if not impossible, to get back to normal life from. It may be a physical journey across land, the removal of allies, self-inflicted isolation or becoming wanted and on the run.
Act 2
Mentor teaches the hero
Readers want to see a character develop into a real hero who can overcome the odds. Everybody needs help sometimes. Mentors in popular fiction include Dumbledore, Morpheus, Rafiki and Obi Wan Kenobi.
First challenge
Time to put your lead under pressure. It may be that they have a first encounter with the villain, or for a slower build, it could be the villain’s cronies.
Temptation
I can resist everything except temptation, and all that. Add depth to your lead by giving them a challenge they have to find the strength of character to overcome.
Dark moment
As you near the climax of your book, circumstances start piling up. Push your lead to the limits to the point they are questioning everything they know, and very nearly slip to the dark side. The closer they get to failing, the more nail-biting it will be. But in the end they pull through, which brings them to...
Act 3
Final battle
The final battle! This is the climax of your story and you must pull out all the stops to make it great. We'll work on this in great detail later, looking at what makes a satisfying ending, so for now you should just have a loose idea of whether your hero succeeds or fails.
Return home
Once your climax is completed all there is to do is tie up loose ends. Will your lead live happily ever after? Do they return home or stay in their new place? Who is with them at the end?

Just posted the smutty sickfic I’ve been working on. AO3 curse got me and I was in the hospital last week. So glad to finally have it done and posted tho. It was a struggle as the closer I got to the end the more plot bunnies started multiplying. And now I am free to start working on those plot bunnies. So here is the (ideal) order that’s gonna go in:
Glee Finnchel role swap set in 4A (this has been haunting me for a few years and I finally feel motivated to write it)

I’m not going to get too ahead of myself and keep planning ahead. That’s a great way to get overwhelmed. Damage Left Behind has a total of 4-5 parts planned, obviously only one is on the list right now. I’d like to try to get through this list before making any more plans.
OH and not listed is I would still like to clean up and post the HSR Bronya/Blade catharsis fic I wrote last summer as well as the TNN essays I have. Titling and front end (tags, summary, etc) are what are holding me back 🥲🥲
I decided to post a (very general) roadmap of my story and where it's going. There's not going to be many/any spoilers, but it'll help me keep to the mark of the story and where I want it to go and it'll also help any readers have an idea of just how long this project is going to be and where it might be going.
