. . .I think you guys can probably guess which panel I had the most fun drawing :P

I do have a couple thoughts on this that I’d like to get out real fast, if that’s cool.

I feel that out of everyone, Raph would be the most understanding of what Leo’s going through right now. I mean, how long did he have to be the responsible one, always looking out for his little brothers? And then lost them, only having himself to blame (OBVIOUSLY it wasn’t his fault, but guilt is a sticky thing)

He knows exactly what it’s like, knows exactly how hard it is to lose someone you’ve loved so deeply, someone—as Leo puts it above—you’ve “basically raised,” and then suddenly get them back. . . But it’s not the same person. Heck, Raph’s got three of those, Leo (almost) has it easy.

I actually had a hard time figuring out Raph’s reaction to Leo’s crash out for a hot second. I kept changing up what he would say, trying to figure out what Leo needed to hear in this moment.

And then I realized, being the action oriented turtle he is, and knowing his little-big brother inside and out, Raph knows that sometimes something as simple as a hug speaks more volumes than a pep talk.

Raph is, you’re not a danger. You’re not a risk. You are safe, and so are your brothers. You’re not gonna hurt anyone. How do I know this? I just do. Trust. Shhhhhhhhh

Eugh boy. . .

Hey, so a lot of folks suggested a DTIYS to celebrate the au’s first anniversary (which was yesterday), so that’s what we’re doing!

But it’s got a twist.

You see, the boys accidentally used the wrong candle from Baron Draxum, and they ended up bringing their cake to life! Oh no!!

YOU GUYS get to decide what happens next! Do they fight the cake monster? Does the cake monster try to eat them? Do they end up befriending the cake monster?

There’s pretty much free rein on this, so get creative :)

It can be as long or short as you want. Want to make a whole comic? Go for it! Just want to redraw the image above? That’s totally fine too!

You can add color, full on render, or you can keep it as simple as a quick sketch, whatever you like!

No incest please and thank you.

As you can see though, I changed some things up while making the second part, because pages wasn't cutting it for me anymore, and since this is my comic, Ima do what I want mwehehehhe

It's also super late and I've hit that hour of the night where everything is really funny for some reason. . .
