I know I have said this 5000 times but I’m gonna say it again.

Way too many things are interpreted as a character, specific trait, or taken as a belief specific to that character.

Instead of a writer wanting to further a narrative.

My most controversial example that I know everyone will disagree with me on.

Bruce Wayne accurately depicted would not be abusive.

That is writers wanting to further the toxic male power fantasy.

Way too many things are taken as a gospel when you should be thinking that writing is clearly because the author needs therapy or to reevaluate their personal beliefs.
