Ww Link? Polynesian coded

I dunno about Polynesian-coded, but BotW’s Lurelin Village - which bears a striking resemblance to Outset Island - is a village comprised entirely of brown people!  The good news is that The Wind Waker Randomizer already has a built-in feature that lets you customize not only the character model you’re using, but also individual colors on those models:

So brown WW Link is very, very real.  Mind you, right now this is only a function of the randomizer (which is wickedly fun, and I recommend anyone capable of emulating GameCube games go check it out, for playable Tetra if no other reason), but making a complete texture pack for the vanilla game is very doable, and something I may look into in the future.

so is there a patch i can apply to an already-randomized ww iso to switch the pronouns to feminine ones? preferably one that would still be compatible with an in-progress save file. but i mean failing that i'd still be willing to start over for the sake of people not referring to this obvious girl with masculine pronouns and honorifics

as an aside if anyone knows how to apply the linka skin + fem dialog changes without the randomizer (which the original images i learned of the skin from showed, considering it was showing the opening cutscene and her referred to as 'big sister' while the randomizer skips the opening and honestly left me in a confusing place as far as what plot points are assumed done or not) i would appreciate being hit up about it
