she is an incredibly talented indie artist who has amazing visuals on spotify. i cant recommend her enough. i would love to see her become more popular. she is so underrated and i recommend her to anyone and everyone who likes Ethel Cain and Phobe.

Wyldest !!

Zoë Mead is the mastermind behind the beautiful songs of hers. she is self described “doom-pop” , so if you’re into that go for it. she has 4 albums, and a beautiful voice, so i suggest checking her out.

Alice Markham

Alice is based in the UK, yet has a subtle southern twang (in my opinion) in her music. her music gives strong Kacey Musgrave vibes, but very elegant. she released her EP “Tides”, this year. also she kinda gives a bit of Mitski vibes.

if you like Sufjan Stevens and gentle yet intensely emotional beats, you will most likely enjoy bathat. his album titled “half the time” is so good. he’s like a slightly british Sufjan.

all of these artists deserve recognition. i suggest all of them, and hey, they’re relatively small, so you can be an “og” fan ;)

Mind Over Body / Slowdance is taken from Wyldest’s debut album Dream Chaos out now via Hand In Hive. This video was shot and directed by Wyldest singer Zoe Mead.

Wyldest are a three-piece shoegaze / dreampop band from London, UK. They are comprised of Zoe Mead (Vocals and Guitar), Mariin Kallikorm (multi-instrumentalist) and Jack Gooderham (Drums).

We’ve always been wild for Wyldest, the London trio that’s intoxicated us endlessly with their windswept guitar pop and dreamy lullabies. That insatiable love is renewed with the unveiling of the visuals for ‘Mind Over Body / Slowdance’, the fourth single to come from Wyldest’s debut album Dream Chaos, out since March via Hand In Hive. The song itself kicks off beautifully with an untethered air of fleecy post-rock, shoegaze, and dream pop before a sublime pluckiness kicks in to bring the track to a whole new level of indie pop splendor. Its video, produced by multi-talented Zoe Mead, who fronts the band, is the perfect marriage of sound and vision. Somewhat eerie haunting vintage footage plays out in harmonious accompaniment to the track’s noire-tinged shoegaze and billowing synthpop. I’ve never hitchhiked in my life, but I imagine it to be an exciting and liberating experience, that is, if you’re able to avoid any dangerous situations. Wyldest’s new synthwavey electro pop jam Hitchhiker certainly feels free spirited. The North Londoners have put together a sizzling hot pop banger that harkens back to both the 80′s, with its neon synths, and the 90′s, with its R&B pop groove. It’s like a cross between Blood Orange and Poliça, with a hint of Kiesza’s sass and Niki and the Dove’s iridescent sheen. Hitchhiker is the title track from a new Wyldest EP arriving on September 29.
