#x reader tag

My beef with X reader writers who refuse to tag their fics grows everytime I go to a tag and cannot enjoy gifs, videos, or hot takes for a thing because its nothing but UNTAGGED X READER.

Low Standards?

Pairing: Cameron Mitchell/Reader (no pronouns used)

Summary: The reader is an old friend of Sam's, so she has licence to tease. Cam however, isn't amused.

Notes:

I knocked this out in 2 hours, which I haven't done in ages. The brain rot is really strong, apparently. Also, obviously I'm operating outside of/around canon for this, as I don't have any actual knowledge of Cam/his role in the show.

In this scenario I'd imagined that the reader once worked for the sgc, but left and is now occasionally used as a contact. Has met Cam before this, though (as they're still sometimes called on by Landry when he's running low on options.)

'Damn, (Y/N). I knew you had low standards, but really?' Sam teased, watching as you stood in the doorway awkwardly doing the buttons up on your shirt. 'Cam?'

'You can't talk!' You replied, referencing Jack.

'I'm still here, you know!' Cam interjected, from the bed before Sam could say her response. He'd pulled the coverlet up his chest; obviously not wanting to be this exposed in front of his colleagues. 'Don't talk about me like I'm not in the room!'

'We're not, we just think you need to....well, think with your head more often.' You teased.

'(Y/N)! Don't make me throw this pillow at you!'

You laughed, and Sam hid a smile. You looked at her, raising an eyebrow. 

(Man, you'd missed her. She really should visit when she wasn't on mission more often.)

'What?' Sam asked. 'I didn't say anything!'

'Just get out, please!' Cam groaned.

'You know we're not letting this go, right?' (Y/N) questioned.

'Yeah.' Cam sighed. 'Just.....don't tell Vala. Then I'll really never hear the end of it.'

'No promises!' You replied, following Sam and shutting the door.

'What is this?' You asked, taking the container of food from him.

'I had time on my hands so I went to a nearby cafe. It's your favourite isn't it?'

You nodded, as he sat down beside you.

‘You didn’t get anything for yourself?’ You asked.

‘I can’t go out of my way to do something for my partner -- is that it?’ Talos replied. You laughed quietly. 

‘No, of course not! I just worry, sometimes.’

‘Good.’ Talos whispered. He leaned over onto you, and you felt the softness of his sweater. Shyly you reached out and took his hand.

‘I love you.’ You mumbled.

‘I love you too, (Y/N).’

Mercy Kill

Pairing: Daniel Jackson (dark timeline)/reader (technically?)

Summary: Daniel is dying and you have to kill him so that information doesn't get into the wrong hands.

[A/N] This one doesn't quite line up with canon, I just wanted to write something that explained how this version of Daniel died.

'(Y/N), please. Just shoot me.' Daniel begged. He was crushed under a large chunk of rock and was bleeding badly, a few minutes ago he'd begun to cough. This wasn't good.

'I-I can't.' You replied, tears running down your face.

'There's no other way, you have to leave me here. Before they arrive.'

You didn't have to ask who 'they' were, you already knew. The Goa'uld. In fact, you could already hear the steps of a squadron getting closer.

So, you closed your eyes and pulled the trigger. There was a quiet bang (you'd had the silencer on) and then Daniel was dead. Gone forever.

( A few months later )

You stopped short in the doorway to the briefing room. Daniel was awkwardly standing there.

'Uh...hi?' He said. 'I'm afraid I'm a bit lost?'

He was a Daniel, but not yours. You couldn't help it, the yearning that is, but you knew that to you wouldn't ever be able to get him back.

So you gritted your teeth and asked him what he needed.

Hopefully in helping him you'd absolve some of your guilt about what you'd done.

There was a knock at the door, which caused you to look up from your desk.

'What is it?'

'Dr. Jackson's arrived, Dr.(L/N)'

'He's here?' You asked. 'Daniel's here?'

It took everything in you to not sprint down the corridor. So, instead, you put down your papers and stood up, walking briskly past the man and down the hall.

When Daniel finally looked away from the black board he smiled the biggest grin he had in months and ran towards you, picking you up into a hug. You squeaked and put your arms around his shoulders.

'Daniel, I've missed you.' You mumbled when he released you and your feet were back on the ground. 'How long has it been? 4 months?'

'Only 3 and a half. It, uh, felt longer.'

'Well, that's what happens when you've got the military suddenly contracting you. You know I'd have contacted you if I could have.'

'Yeah, I do.' He mumbled, and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, suddenly violently aware that Catherine and the others were waiting. Catherine laughed and Daniel took your hand, turning back around to face them.

'So, you've translated it then?' You asked.

'Yeah, just before you came in.'

'Oh, Daniel! That's amazing!'

'Thank you.' Daniel said. 'But I've got just one question, Catherine, why is the military so interested in 5,000 year old tablets?'

'My report says 10,000.' A man said. He was tall and was closed in dress uniform, with a close-cropped haircut. His lapel was decorated with many small coloured patches.

'Afternoon, Colonel.' Kawalsky said, saluting the man.

'Um, do I know you?' Catherine asked, looking him up and down.

'I'm Colonel Jack O'Neil from General West's office. I'm taking over from you.'

'This figure 10,00 is ludicrous. I mean, Egyptian culture didn't even exist--' Daniel murmured quietly under his breath. You smiled, and suppressed a laugh, of course Daniel was already showing up the base personnel.

'Mhmm.' Shore agreed. 'We know, but the sonic and radio carbon tests are conclusive.'

'Well, these are cover stones. Was there a tomb underneath?'

'No, no, no, but we found something more interesting.'

'Excuse me,' O'Neil interrupted. 'This information has been classified.'

At this Shore closed his mouth.

'From now on no information has been authorised to be passed on to non-military personnel.' This order was directed at Kawalsky, who nodded. O'Neil then turned around exited the room.

'Catherine, what's going on here?' Myers questioned.

'I'm not sure.' Catherine replied, before leaving the room and following after the Colonel.

Daniel then turned to you and shrugged at him. Just because you had some military clearance didn't mean you knew everything. Something else had to be afoot.

Kiss

Summary: You kiss Daniel after he comes back from a mission.

Before you knew what you were doing your feet had taken from the office upstairs towards the gate. You’d even left behind your steaming hot cup of coffee and approximately half a sandwich. But you didn’t care, you just needed to see Daniel.

Then there he was, exiting the gate after Sam and Jack, so (without thinking) when you reached him you stretched up, pulling him down towards your eye level.

‘Kiss me.’

Daniel looked shocked for a second, but then pressed his lips to yours. The entire world then melted away, and everything felt correct (finally.)

‘Get a room, you two!’ Jack teased. He was leaning against the gate’s railing, looking on with a smile on his face.

You released Daniel and laughed. Daniel had a goofy expression on his face.

‘Call me later, yeah?’ You said, letting him go and walking back down the steps.

(Hopefully he would follow up that suggestion.)

If I ever make another x reader fir myself, reader will be an unintelligible creature that almost entirely speaks in gibberish and bites people who they love and bites hard people who they hate.
