I've been thinking about drawing her for a very long time, and now I've finally gotten around to my interpretation of her. I have a theory that this ladybug might be Xenora, and that she's Ken's ex-wife. Based on all the 'hints,' I picture her as a tall, aristocratic woman. And next to her, Ken would look short, which I find hilarious :D. I'm pretty sure they had a male wife and girl boss dynamic going on.

As for their current relationship, I think there's a whole drama going on.

Alright, so today’s announcement gave us a lot to look forward to as the show progresses, but right now I want to focus in on these screenshost:

Now, to zero in on the first and third points on the above, a thought occurred to me out of the blue:

What if Breadhead’s alluded to older brother is currently living with/works for/under the custody of Ken’s ex-wife?

I get there really isn’t anything substantiate this given how little we know at this point in time, but I’m going to pull out Occam’s Razor on this one and say that the simplest explanation is that, in the divorce courts of a post-apocalyptic hellhole, the family underwent custody disputes which resulted in each party keeping one of their sons.

Now, for all I know I could be way off the mark, as the above is just as likely as the oldest of the Hill children possibly making a name for himself elsewhere on the island or possibly having been dealt with and cemented at some point in the past.

Then of course is the whole can of worms regarding the identity of Ken’s ex-wife, whether that be the alluded to Xenora, an as of yet unnamed, unrelated Rotling, or (considerably less likely) a woman Ken was married to before/during the apocalypse.

I get there really isn’t a lot to go on at present and I’m likely to be way off the mark with how premature this is, but I felt like sharing and I’m wondering what others have to think about how these two members of the Hill family tie into one another.

Xenora [zen-or-ah] is a non-binary gender for when someone is xenogendered or xenic, but it feels counterfeit or unofficial. Basically, as if you ordered "Xenogender" of wish.com, which is a site known for selling knock-off products.

I have been on a Xenora theorizing kick lately. Here are some of my theories/thoughts:

Her underlings/the litterbugs look to be based off flies, which are scavenger animals that prey on the already dead/decomposing. But mantises prefer live prey. They like to kill it in real time. I wonder if she is a cannibal and eats people who don’t follow her orders or get in the way of her plans. Speaking of plans: I wonder what she wants? Many people speculate she might be Ken’s ex. I am on this train of thought too. But the focus episode where she is likely to show up (ep3) is not about Ken. It’s supposed to be about Breadhead 🤔 so unless they intentionally misled us with episode summaries (which I wouldn’t put it past them to lie by omission so we’re supervised when it comes out) I think her plans will be against him. But why? What did he do that got her eyes on him? Is it because he was brought to life with bug souls and she wants to reclaim them? Did he get into a fight with the litterbug mafia and now they want revenge? I do not know yet 😅 we’ll have to wait and see

She looks like she’s wearing earrings even though she doesn’t have ears. They look like wings affixed to the side of her head. She also appears to be wearing a large grub as a scarf. Mantis do not start as grubs, but as nymphs. I wonder if she “recycles” failed underlings or her rivals into fashion statements.

We have not seen her from the wait down yet. I am curious: does she have the body of a mantis, or a humanoid body? Either could be cool, but until we see a full image of her we don’t know what to expect.
