When I am telling you Xiaolin Showdown had INSANE impact on my life, you are not capable of understanding how big it was and still is.
Example #1: When I was little I had a special dance routine I danced when the theme song was playing & one time my sister was watching me doing that through the key hole and she was ofc making fun of me for that xD
Example #2: To THIS DAY whenever I touch something at the same time someone else does I say "Gon gi tan pai!". If they know, they know. 🫡🤫
Example #3: There's no such a thing to me like four elements that includes "air" instead of wind. No. That's simply incorrect in my book and it doesn't make any sense either. It's wind that creates huricanes, sea storms, cyclones etc. Not clear air. We breathe with air and not wind, JEEZ 🙄.
Example #4: I started to love Brazil and I was and still kind of am obsessed 😅. I was reading about it from my atlas book and I even have a brazil scarf in my room. Fun fact: My sister exchanged our local football club scarf for that xD 😂
Example #5: In one episode that I dont remember which one it was, Clay said something like: "Did anyone saw our little genius and his flying witch?" (I translated it exactly how I remember it from the polish version) and I used this exact phrase when my sister and dad went somewhere together and my mom was laughing so hard at it xD She ofc later repeated that story to them and they were like 🤨🤨🤨
Exampe #6: Even my older sister who wasn't necessarily watching this show with me knew enough about it to answer "Omi" when I asked her who she thinks became a leader. That's how obsessed I was (and still am). 🩵
