Soo, this is kinda random but it's something I've been wondering for a while now, but could you make a list on how to pronounce your oc's names? Because I'm not sure I've been reading them right-
Don’t worry, you can pronounce them however you want, most of my OCs wouldn’t even be offended if you get their names wrong! And the majority is pronounced just like it’s written anyway. Here are some that may be confusing though:
Ishalea — ee-sha-le-ah
Xala — ksa-la
Seidala — say-dala
Ateitis — ah-tay-tis
Ra’enar — rah-e-nar
Yla — ee-la
Firie — fi-ri-eh
Xyrha — zeer-ha
Teshe — tesh-eh
Let me know if you’re wondering about the names I haven’t included here ~
All of them. I’ve unlocked all of them for Merkara and it’s not enough, she’s never satisfied.
Let’s see those outfits!
I posted some of them here, have a few more! (that’s still not all of her outfits, though)
Relu:
Do they like their role in their current situation?
Sometimes, just sometimes Relu thinks that it would be nice not to have the weight of the galaxy on his shoulders for once. But his general attitude is “If you want something done right, do it yourself”, so he doesn’t consider actually abandoning his position in the Alliance and riding off into the sunset. He prefers to be in control as long as the galaxy is a mess in need of fixing.
Do they have any deep dark secrets?
He sure does. He fully experienced being his dark self, and he has been terrified of what he is capable of becoming ever since. For all his self-control, he still slips sometimes, and very few people know how difficult it is for him to maintain the balance in his own mind.
Xyrha:
Describe their personality
She’s one of the most responsible people you will ever meet. She takes responsibility even for the things that are obviously outside of her control just because she cares a lot about making things right. She cares about people too but in her own way. She doesn’t coddle, she’s not going to hug you and say that everything will be alright in a kind and soothing voice. Xyrha is far more likely to punch you in the face because you’re being an idiot and you can do better. She’s tough and persistent, she can endure pretty much everything as long as there’s a point to it.
Do they have any vices? and Do they have any regrets? for Xyrha?
Do they have any vices?
I’d say that her greatest vice is not having any bad habits and being very holier-than-thou about it. When she’s not actively judgmental, she’s condescending. She has no sympathy for addicts, especially for those who do absolutely nothing to change. She believes that everyone can become better and overcome anything if they take responsibility instead of looking for excuses. Weaknesses are for the people who don’t bother to work on them.
Do they have any regrets?
Lots of them! She regrets that she didn’t manage to become a good influence on her no-good sister. She regrets that she just let the Jedi take her brother away, didn’t fight, didn’t just close the door on that Jedi Master.
She regrets many of her choices as a soldier because they didn’t work out as she had intended and sometimes backfired terribly. Among these choices is her mission from the start of her career, a very unfortunate mission when the Republic simply abandoned her squad, and Xyrha’s best wasn’t good enough to save others. Four of her friends died then, among them was her boyfriend (who isn’t actually dead, he deserted and changed his name, but that’s a different story).
If you're still taking these drabbles, 90. “Remember when we were little?” for Moranai and her sister Xyrha?
I’m always ready to do any of the stuff I have ever reblogged for OC asks :3
“Hey, why can’t the Twi'leks fight with their lekku?”
The bartender, who happened to be a Twi’lek, turned to Moranai just as he was pouring a drink for a very quiet Rodian sitting next to her.
“Excuse me?” the bartender asked, and it was surprising that someone in the dirtiest cantina on this level would know such words. Okay, it was the only cantina on this level. It was still dirty and as seedy as it could get, but the drinks were cheap and people were easy to rob. At the moment, Moranai was planning on robbing the Rodian, who had his week’s wages hidden safely in his jacket, but the poor sod wasn’t drunk enough yet. She had to wait a little bit, and she had no patience for waiting.
“I mean, these things are huge!” she vaguely gestured in the direction of the bartender’s lekku, “If you could only fight with them like with your arms, you’d be able to take someone out just with one hit. Imagine the possibilities!”
“Piss off,” the bartender huffed as he placed the glass full of something remotely similar to whisky in front of the Rodian. Now he was talking just like any other resident of the Coruscant underworld! If anything, it made Moranai feel more comfortable because she had no idea how to deal with people who would say stuff like “excuse me” and “thank you”.
“Woah, no offence, my pal,” Moranai threw her hands up in the air, “I’m just thinking about the unfortunate limitations that nature imposes on us, y’know.”
“And here’s an unfortunate limitation that nature imposed on me,” said a very familiar voice behind her back. Oh no. Moranai recognized that voice instantly, of course she did, but she didn’t like the idea that her sister showed up to ruin her plans. It was unfair.
“Hey, Xyrha!” Moranai turned around on her stool, feigning friendliness as hard as she could in response to Xyrha’s stern expression, “What a surprise, you never come to places like this.”
“I do when I have to drag your sorry ass out,” Xyrha frowned, that was something she had always been very good at, and nodded in the direction of the exit, “We’re leaving. Now.”
Moranai wanted to protest. Moranai wanted to kick and scream until her personal walking headache would leave her alone. But there was no getting rid of Xyrha once she set her mind on something. It was better to go without making a scene because Moranai would need to come back later and finally rob someone.
“Oh, fine!” she scowled, all friendliness gone from her face. She stood up and followed Xyrha like a good little sister until they were outside and she could finally say everything that was on her mind. “Oh, come on, I really need money, you insufferable buzzkill!” Moranai stomped her foot like a kid who didn’t get her way, “I still owe Djingo. A lot. Do you know what Djingo does to people who owe her? Well, if you find my severed limbs under your door, don’t be surprised.”
“I’ll give you money,” Xyrha answered levelly as she started walking away from the cantina, “I’ll give you everything I’ve got before I leave.”
“Haha, sure… Wait, what?” Moranai had to start walking faster to keep pace with her sister, “You leave? Where?”
“I’m dragging you away from trouble for the last time,” Xyrha said instead of answering. Oh, she just had to rub it in, didn’t she? “I enlisted and got accepted. This is what I was going to tell you when I came back home and realized that you’re off to your troublemaking again. So they won’t let you into any of the cantinas on our level, and now you’re trying out the places where your face isn’t familiar yet?”
Moranai couldn’t believe what she was hearing. That is, she could believe half of it, but the part about enlisting? Xyrha leaving for the military? Sure, Xyrha had mentioned something about this before, but Moranai had never believed that it was for real. It couldn’t be.
She stopped and refused to move even as Xyrha was walking further and further away from her. She crossed her arms and lifted her chin, resolutely waiting for Xyrha to realize that she wasn’t going anywhere. And she got what she wanted when Xyrha was forced to stop, mutter something definitely not nice under her breath and return.
“Don’t make it about me because it’s not about me this time,” Moranai hissed, “You did what? Enlisted? Are you out of your kriffing mind?”To give Xyrha some credit, she wasn’t going to interrupt as long as Moranai still had something to say. And Moranai had a lot to say for sure. She raised her voice and was almost screaming at her stoically calm sister. “Wanna be a soldier marching on to the tune of the Republic’s anthem? Wanna serve the government that doesn’t give a damn about us and other people like us? You just… You just gonna slave your life away like mom and dad, but at least they’re not risking getting shot at.”
She didn’t get the response she wanted. She didn’t get an argument that would justify her anger and let her scream for a little bit longer. Xyrha didn’t look mad, or irritated, or offended. She was just tired. She didn’t even react when a passerby bumped into her shoulder. So the two of them were standing in the middle of the badly lit street, looking at each other in silence. And then Xyrha finally spoke. “Remember when we were little?” she asked in a quiet voice.
“You were little?” Moranai smirked, “I thought you were born grown-up.”
“Maybe I was. Someone has to be a grown-up in this family. But don’t interrupt me while I’m in the middle of saying something.”
“Okay. What was that?”
Xyrha’s eyes looked past Moranai, as if seeing through her, staring at something that wasn’t even there. “When we were little, mom and dad took us all the way to the surface for the first time. Do you remember? We’d never seen the sky before…”
“Never imagined that streets could be so clean, houses could be so nice, and people could be so well-dressed. Oh, am I interrupting again?”
“No, it’s fine,” Xyrha didn’t stop staring into the distance even for a moment, “Remember how we didn’t want to leave? We just stared and stared until our eyes hurt from all the light around us. We talked about flying away into that endless sky above and never going back.”
Oh, Moranai could remember it all too well. She just didn’t want to, which is why she lowered her head and slouched forward. “What about it?” she asked.
“This is it, Moranai,” Xyrha looked her in the eye again, “This is me flying away.”
Merkara (Inquisitor): 7/10. You must be at least level 4 friend to unlock hugs. But when it comes to the people she really cares about, she’s very open and generous with her affections. I’m pretty sure that she hugged Darth Marr at some point.
Relu (Consular): 4/10. There are no cuddles, there is peace. The Council isn’t watching? Alright, let’s hug.
Moranai (Smuggler): 10/10. She would hug literally anyone whenever she feels like it. It doesn’t matter whether she’d known you for years or if you just met her. Personal space? What’s that?
Vex’ala (Knight): 0/10. Don’t try it.
Iliraa (Bounty Hunter): 6/10. Can hug a lot when she’s drunk, and she’s drunk more often than not. Don’t try to approach her when she’s sober though, that might result in serious injuries.
Seidala (Warrior): 3/10. Hugs when overwhelmed with emotions. Gives really tight hugs with all her power and might accidentally squeeze the life out of you, so be careful.
Ishalea (Warrior): 2/10. Don’t initiate a hug, she will do it if she thinks that you’re worthy. If you’re unworthy and try it anyway, you’ll have to perish, sorry.
Ra’enar (Warrior): 1/10. The only people who are allowed to hug him are his sisters and Vette. Never initiates hugs.
Essaia (Agent): 2/10. Cuddling is a part of the mission? Then why? What can be gained from a hug? Please explain.
Xyrha (Trooper): 7/10. Doesn’t hug often but gives really great hugs that are guaranteed to make you feel safe and appreciated.
Darryn (Smuggler): 1/10. Will hug you to steal your wallet.
Fianya (Agent): 1/10. But what if you’re trying to hug her just to inject her with poison? What malicious plans do you have? Nah, she can’t take that risk.
Meerax (Consular): 10/10. Aww, you’ve had a bad day? Come here for a hug. She barely knows you, but she wants you to feel better.
1. Who makes the first move and how?, for Xyrha and Nheomi?
Does Nheomi’s drunk kiss count? Because that happens when she takes Xyrha out dancing. As Xyrha is the responsible one (and capable of staying relatively sober even after a few drinks), she literally carries her mess of a Jedi away from trouble. She gets kissed for her efforts, but it doesn’t lead to anything because she sees all too well that Nheomi is super drunk and therefore not really accountable for her own actions. Xyrha doesn’t think twice about it. And she is very chill and professional the next day, even when Nheomi drops a hint that they could continue with what started the day before if Xyrha is open to the possibility. Xyrha is here to save Corellia, you know. Having an affair with her very flirty CO is not in her schedule. Besides, she’s only interested in serious relationships, and Nheomi doesn’t look like she’s capable of anything serious. So as far as first moves go, this one is a total failure.
Iliraa and Essaia (Chiss Bounty Hunter and Imperial Agent)
• Iliraa is Force-sensitive, but she isn’t strong enough to become a Force-user. This limitation didn’t prevent her people from kicking her out. Becoming a bounty hunter was her way to survive on her own.
• Essaia promised to find her when she’d be old enough to leave home. She didn’t even try, choosing her people over her sister in the end.
• When Essaia started working for Imperial Intelligence, she actually attempted to find out about Iliraa and succeeded. But, once again, she had other priorities. Spies don’t have families. She continues monitoring her sister’s exploits from afar though. Guilt is eating her alive, but she can’t afford to be sentimental.
• Iliraa is still bitter about being kicked out, and she sees Mandalorians as her new family, real family. She cringes every time she meets a random chiss who treats her like a compatriot.
• They grew up with their despotic mother and different stepfathers. They could only ever count on one another, which is why they have always been inseparable.
• Being the descendants of a powerful noble line, they had to live up to a lot of expectations. Their mother would’ve never accepted anything less than greatness and perfection.
• Their second stepfather was very interested in their pre-Korriban training, intending to shape them into the most distinguished Sith lords of their generation. He was ruthless and treated children as if they were grown-up apprentices. One of his “unique” approaches involved buying Force-sensitive slaves to use them as punching bags. Only one of those slaves survived ― it was Merkara, who found the stepfather years later, after she became a Dark Councilor, and killed him (very painfully). No one mourned that bastard.
• Ra’enar became the Emperor’s Wrath, Ishalea and Seidala are fighting the war on the front lines together. They are wholeheartedly dedicated to the Empire.
• They still use their childhood nicknames in private ― Ishi, Ray, and Dala.
• They’re still secretly terrified of their mother.
Xyrha and Moranai (Cathar Trooper and Smuggler)
• Xyrha has always been parents’ favorite. Everything Moranai has ever done is inevitably compared to the achievements of her responsible and hardworking older sister ― and she doesn’t measure up.
• To make matters worse, they are very different when it comes to personality, priorities, and views. They can’t agree on anything, so it’s enough to bring up one relatively controversial topic to spark a conflict.
• Xyrha chose to serve the people of the Republic, Moranai decided to serve her own interests. These choices drove them apart further than ever before.
• Probably the only thing they agree on is their dislike for the Jedi. It’s because their little brother was taken by the Order.
