In case anyone is wondering how I cram a photographic studio into my already over-loaded house, the answer is, I don't. This is what the table actually looks like, with my box of goodies and the tide of other projects that seems to live permanently on the dining table. The "studio" comprised a single sheet of Stonehenge art paper (also living on the table for other purposes, such as painting) in a clearing in the middle. Not much to it, quick to set up (well, instant, if you never put anything away) and so much fun to do. It helps when you have great products, like from @knittinginfrance to work with too. Anyone who's afraid of photographing their stuff, I promise you that an A2 sheet of paper will be your best friend. The hardest part is keeping the paper clean and un-creased (pesky dog and cat hairs seem to appear from nowhere in this house, and settle all over everything). And not accidentally photographing your own shadow over the top - I had quite a few that looked like there was someone creeping up behind me, but it turned out to be my own shadow shitting with me. Note to self: stand behind the light, not in front of it. Doh. I've had a super-fun morning taking pics of my yarn-swap extravaganza. Who else is swapping yarn today?
