“Yeonjun, what do you want now?” Soobin groaned as he turned around in his gaming chair, pulling away from his gaming setup that took his ridiculously too long to set up.
“Y/N,” He said in a breathy tone that was hard to distinguish between exasperated and worry.
“Last night?” Soobin asked, now engaged with the conversation as he paused his game and took off his headphones.
“If I hadn’t been.. checking on her, who knows what would’ve happened?” Yeonjun asked, his anxiety still running like a leaky faucet.
“Beomgyu. He completely disappeared on Y/N last night,” Yeonjun started. “Beomgyu is not a lightweight. But he was gone practically at the same time as Y/N.”
Soobin sighed, “What are you implying?”
“I don’t know, but all I do know is that something is just not adding up,” Yeonjun sighed as he ran his hand through his hair.
“Did you ask Beomgyu’s about jt?” Soobin asked.
“I feel like he reads too much into things. He’ll find out I’m asking from a point of.. protectiveness and tell Y/N. They’re like six and seven,” Yeonjun mumbled. “I’m jealous.”
“Y/N looked tense all night. Especially after you approached her.” Soobin said as he picked at his nails momentarily.
“Hey, that’s not. oh, wait! In the car, she was staring at me, seriously.” Yeonjun sat up, looking serious.
“I know but I’m not interested, no offense.”
Before Soobin could roll his eyes, a knock sounded at Soobin’s door.
Yeonbin froze, before Yeonjun ultimately sat up to open the door reluctantly. His place slowly and uncertain as he opened the door.
Taehyun was on the other side, looking somewhat concerned. “Did you guy notice anything up about Beomgyu? He’s been throwing up all morning.”
The room fell deafeningly quiet.
“Throwing up?” Soobin asked, sitting up from his chair to walk over.
“He’s been trying to hide it, but I can hear him retching loud as hell. How much did he drink? I know he passed out but..” Taehyun started.
“What the fuck? Oh my God, did someone spike his drink or something?” Soobin asked.
“It wouldn’t be ridiculous to say that,” Taehyun walked in, closing the door behind him and sitting on Soobin’s bed.
“Is Y/N awake?” Yeonjun asked.
Taehyun gave a slow blink before shaking his head no. He watched Yeonjun’s face twist into an expression of sorry.
“Yeonjun. I’ve been meaning to ask. is something going on between you and Y/N?” Taehyun asked.
The room, again, went silent.
Soobin stifled a chuckle as Yeonjun turned pink. He turned his head away for a moment. Giving Soobin the chance to speak, “Nope. Yeonjun has just been in love with her for like four years now amd Y/N seemingly has no clue.”
Yeonjun shot Soobin a glare, and Taehyun nodded. “I thought so. I couldn’t tell if it was a mutual thing or not, though.” Taehyun said.
“Anyway,” Yeonjun cleared his throat. “Y/N and Beomgyu have definitely beene exposed to some sort of danger.”
Soobin and Taehyun nodded.
“Should we keep them closer and keep our thoughts to ourselves or tell them straight up?” Soobin asked, his eyes darting between Taehyun and Yeonjun.
“We should keep it low, in case then knowing could complicate things. Let’s just keep them closer,” Yeonjun suggested.
“Alright,” Taehyun nodded. “Let’s make a group chat and text if we have new information,” Soobin said.
“Jungwon? You’re not focused,” Heeseung sighed. His expression one of disappointment.
“Sorry.. I..” Jungwon’s trailed off, looking over Heeseung’s shoulder with an incredulous expression, his eyes narrowing.
Heeseung rolled his eyes and turned around and saw it.
And.. whoever the fuck that is..?
“Is that.. Y/N?” Heeseung asked cautiously, as if he could be wrong but that was clearly you.
“I have no idea, but who is that by her?” Jungwon asked.
You were currently at a busy café with what seemed to be a stunning woman around your age as well. You were nursing your usual order while the other woman was attending to a croissant and a black coffee.
You both were engaged in a heart conversation that radiated friendship.. except you’ve never mentioned this woman to nor Heeseung and Jungwon or anyone else.
Jungwon and Heeseung decided to go out for some brunch after the gym and was surprised by the sight.
Heeseung was listening hard, it was obvious to anyone else, but the conversation you were in was so captivating you didn’t realize.
“She really can’t see you staring dagger into her?” Jungwon mumbled, looking away from Heeseung with embarrassment.
“Hey, what if she’s on a date? Does she swing that way?” Heeseung asked.
Jungwon frowned, “Stop that. That’s not funny.” He said, drinking his unattended drink. His face fein at the thought.
“You’re completely wooed, aren’t you?@ Heeseung asked.
“What are they talking about?”
“Ignore the question then. They’re catching up. Must be an old friend.”
Jungwon nodded slowly, as if glad it’s not a date.
“We can just ask her tonight at the restaurant, right?” Jungwon asked, leaning back.
“Yeah. If you don’t accidentally admit that you were stalking her,” Heeseung said with a smirk as Jungwon’s expression darkened.
“You’re so annoying,” Jungwon pouted.
Before Heeseung could reply, he saw you walk toward the exit door by yourself, which alarmed him. Shouldn’t be with that cryptic lady?
He swung his head back towards the woman lingering at the booth they were at, while Jungwon’s was watching you enter a cab.”
The lady you came with was clenching her fists in her lap, her body trembling slightly.
Heeseung kicked Jungwon’s to get his attention, causing Jungwon to let out a groan.
“Ow! Fuck, what was..” Jungwon was about to yell before he noticed the woman you were with. shaking in the booth alone.
A waiter walked past her and froze, “Miss Yeri? Are you alright?” The waiter asked, seemingly unaware of the storm brewing in the woman, Yeri.
“I’m.. fine,” Yeri forced out, giving a forced smile.
The waiter froze, getting bad vibes from her and began to give a scared helpless nod, moving quickly to leave to serve their tables.
Just as the waiter began to walk away, they were yanked back by Yeri. The drinks spilling all over the floor, causing everyone to look over.
The waiter swallowed hard and turned to Yeri, whose expression seemed normal upon first glance, but look for even a second longer and you could notice it wasn’t right.
It was tight and forced, like a mask.
The waiter looked away as people kept staring. Unsure what to make of the situation.
Yeri leaned into the waiter’s ear, asking a question that was seemingly disturbing, since the waiter cowered in fear and phlled their arm free.
Yeri seemingly let them, then placed an a hundred dollar bill before simply gathering her stuff and walking out.
Jungwon and Heeseung turned back to each other, deeply unsettled by the scene that just unfolded and quickly paid for their unfinished food and left.
Jungwon and Heeseung walked to their car, staring at ground as they walked in silence.
“Do you think.. Y/N’s in danger?” Jungwon asked suddenly(?) as he looked up at Heeseung, who was tense.
“Definitely. Or.. what if she’s also..?” Heeseung asked, just throwing theories around.
“No way, that’s impossible. She’s not like that,” Jungwon said.
“You don’t know that,” Heeseung replied.
“Fuck off,” Jungwon scoffed. “I’ve been waiting for the moment we’d naturally cross paths for almost a year now. I’m not throwing away this chance unless K at least try.”
“So you’ll ignore every red flag in order to do so?” Heeseung asked.
Jungwon began walking faster so he didn’t have to talk to Heeseung, then seemingly got more agitated and ran off.
Heeseung watched blankly.
You woke up at 2:13 PM, sweaty as fuck and in yesterday’s clothes. Yuck.
You have been passed out from around 3 AM to 2 PM, which wasn’t like you. Yoh never slept in that late when hungover.
You received several messages from your contacts in your miniature coma.
