Idk how accurate I got this doodle of The Metal Creature™️ Yiling Wu, but she intrigues me.

Additional historical facts:

She was born into a poor family on Roinrac. Her interest in electronics and technology began from her time in a local arcade where the elderly couple who ran it let her take apart and rebuild their machines. She attended one of the most prestigious universities on Roinrac a year early (when she was 17) for both mechanical engineering and material science. She met Robert in her 3rd year when he was desperate to find someone who could help him analyze some Grítál, this is how she found out about the supernatural. He refused her offer to join the Plistad as he felt guilty about getting her involved. Her initial design for Robert’s armor is what is still used by other government agents on Roinrac. She met Eleni and Sinilau a year ago, as she was assigned to be one of their guides when they visited Roinrac.

Fun facts: She claims her favorite food is egg drop soup, but it’s actually the funnel cakes served at the arcade. She fidgets constantly, her hands always need to be occupied with something, typically playing some handheld video game. She has no preferred genre of music, a song just needs to tickle the right part of her brain and she will play it on repeat for weeks. Her sleep schedule is in shambles, she’ll often pull all nighters without realizing it and simply fall asleep among the pieces of her projects rather than in her bed.

How about sentient Burial Mounds that, after listening to Wei Wuxian's countless ramblings extolling the virtues of Hanguang Jun, decides that Lan Wangji is the Best. Person. Ever. And wherever he goes, countless fierce corpses bring him random stuff like a deranged cat to show him appreciation.

LQR: why is there a fierce corpse outside the gate carrying a shovel?

LXC: ummm... thats from the Burial Mounds to show it's uhhhhh.... admiration for Wangji

EDIT: Burial Mounds also keep hearing from WWX about this Emperor's Smile. They don't know what that is exactly, but they know WWX is the emperor of the Mounds. They can't make him smile but that tiny human does. So one day they simply bring both humans to LWJ, and it was the BEST gift Burial Mounds gave to LWJ.

They can't think of a gift that would top that but they have heard about those potato things their emperor keeps talking about. If only they knew where to find potatoes...
