One of the most under appreciated things is WN cleaning up the messes left after WX drunken shenanigans 🥺 WN is the bestest boy I won't hear any criticism 😤

Wen Ning is the bestest boy. He cleans up messes after drunken shenanigans, buries all the bodies for Wei Wuxian, happily commits lots of treason for Wei Wuxian and gives Jiang Cheng the tongue lashing of his life.

My favorite part of that scene though is Wen Ning showing us that he would like to be a sugar baby by musing on how nice it is that Lan Wangji has so much money when Wei Wuxian is being sad about him. Good to see where your priorities are, Wen Ning. Glad to know you've got Wei Wuxian's best interests at heart there.

but it’s just not the same. i don’t think there’s one person for you but imo wwx and lwj exist in a way where i don’t think anyone could replicate their relationship or even dynamic whether they met earlier or much later. i feel like maybe the wen siblings had some of his ideal “standards” lol but they weren’t lwj 🤪😌😏

I think you're right, anon! No matter when it is, there is something undeniable about them meeting each other. They are perfectly suited to each other.

The Wen Siblings do get the closest to being Lan Wangji like for him, but even so yeah they aren't Lan Wangji, and besides they are his brother and sister of the heart. There was an instant connection there too, but it was different. I love making them siblings in any universe that isn't canonverse, because god damn it they are perfect!
