Plush artist talk.

I found the embroidery machine I want but I am 1k short to be able to get it. My family suggested to help me get it for bday and christmas!! In the end that'd be 1400/3, each cover 400€. It's still a lot to ask my family and friends expressed the wish to help aswell so I'm considering cutting the price in 4. It's really awkward in such a sitution to ask for help but I am never going to be able to work if I don't accept help.

I started a ko-fi for it but I've noticed they take some fees on it so I might go for paypal directly. In the end I'd need to gather 350€ from supportive people and it might be doable 😸💜 I'd keep some money aside to be able to spend on the embroidery program and accessories!!

Lately my methods of sewing have taken me a long time and can hurt my fingers for days. I've finally decided to get a more professional machine so I can keep the pace and also let the machine do the embroidery.

Sewing has become a big part of my life and I wish to pursue it as more than a hobby. As stated previously, I'm disabled so I haven't been able to save money for the past 5 years nor do big labours. Sewing is the only thing that keeps me going so if you help me I'd be forever grateful!!

I woke up and did nothing today because of the pain. I even put on some clothes but my lunch made too sick to do activities. I should clean my house and maybe work a bit or even try gardening but I feel miserable, hit by that depressive episode.

Yes please, care for others, they are not lower beings based on the fact they are "not your family, not able bodied, not healthy, not working anymore". I know ppl say stupid things when they're scared but there's limits. Have some freaking heart for once and stop being selfish. Or else, if you're that selfish, you're welcome to lock yourself in your bunker and never come back out.

I know this is really negative but lately I've veen hit with a strong sense of misanthropy, seeing people fight over toilet paper, stealing medical workers from their own car, governements telling you to stay in as much as possible even though you need money to survive... acting entitled and invincible because they don't die from the virus. It's sickening and we have to keep our chins up, show the world these people are not all there is to it. Make a difference and show that you care. Change things, we can do it.
