Ed needs some help.

I was taking a little mental health break after experiencing some caretaker burnout and subsequent writer's block, had just mentioned that I was planning on posting a backlog of fic I wrote, and then some stuff happened. I have been struck by the AO3 (and I guess Tumblr?) author's note curse: what I thought was a regular everyday kind of illness turned out to be something more serious that required hospitalization. I'm going to be fine and should be out today or tomorrow, but I've missed almost two full weeks of work because of this and missed basically an entire pay period. Being an hourly employee sucks, especially when you've worked a single shift in two weeks.

I live in a rented room on a month-to-month lease, so my housing situation isn't the most stable. I've scraped together what I had and what my family and friends could offer, but money is tight right now. I'm still short almost half my rent, and I've been panicking about this for a few days.

So I'm asking for help, a thing I hate doing. I've made a GoFundMe that I'm reluctant to share, but it's become my only option.
