   there was only so long he could stew about it,  teeth chewing at the inside of his cheek as the mental image played on repeat.   normally he might have been able to fake better happiness for them   -   although the image of his best friend with someone else’s tongue in their mouth didn’t exactly make for an all too pleasant drive home as his fingers tapped uncertainly against the steering wheel,  brown eyes glancing across to the passenger seat as a soft clear of his throat eventually broke the silence.   “  you looked like you were having fun tonight?  ”   incase it wasn’t obvious he’d watched the whole thing.

hayden decided that he at least needed a mini break from constantly tutoring others in math so going to a party seemed like the best idea in his mind. all he planned to do was have a couple drinks and just go back over to his dorm and take a long well deserved nap. the brunette noticed his ex from literally five years ago with someone new, he shouldn’t of been as bothered as he was but it made him so jealous to see them dancing and making out with them ---- they hadn’t spoken in a very long time but maybe those feelings were still just bottled up inside that he hadn’t thought were still there. maybe all the alcohol he had was the main reason he was just angry about it all when he should’ve just been happy for them at least. the minute his brown hues watched them walk away into the direction of the bathroom he couldn’t help but make his way over to the person that they had been dancing with, the next thing he knew his fist made contact with the others cheek.
