Playing with my Bum Bums today! 😜 @soldejanairo gifted me the new Coco Cabana Cream, so I thought I would share my thoughts on it with you now that I have tried it for a few weeks. 🙂 My very first impression of it was not great. I put it on all over my body and it was extremely sticky, like a tacky/gluey kind of sticky 😬, needless to say I didn’t like that at all (a couple of hours into wearing it, the stickiness did go away). Another thing that I found peculiar was that after a minute of applying it, my skin felt warm, not to the touch, I could just feel it (if you have ever used a heat mask, that was the feeling). I asked my mom to try it that same day, to see what she thought, and while she did experience some stickiness, she did not experience the “warm feeling” which I thought was interesting. What is even more interesting is that ever since the first time I used it (I decided to keep using it for review purposes), not only has it not been as sticky (now it is just a little and only for the first few minutes), but I also have not felt the “warm feeling” again 🤷🏻‍♀️. In conclusion, I have loved it every time I have used it after the first time 💙. I have never really had an experience quite like this with a product before. I would definitely recommend that you get a sample and test it at least twice before buying it. Tonight’s episode of “UNSWATCHING with Joy” features the Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel and Smoothing Scrub ’N’ Mask complimentary from Sol de Janeiro @soldejaneiro, as well as their Brazilian Bum Bum Cream; and @colourpopcosmetics Pressed Powder Shadows in “Two Birds,” “Freckles,” “Tea Garden,” and “Sideline.” *Please don’t mind the scratch on my arm, it is courtesy of a baby bunny. 😅 As the name suggests the wash has a cream-gel consistency that is gentle on the skin. The flip lid is a little hard to close but that could just be mine, and it’s also not too bad. It claims to be a solution for dryness, dullness, and uneven texture. While it is certainly not drying I would not say that it is particularly moisturizing either, perhaps I would notice a bigger difference if I had drier skin or when I have used it for longer. However, it does leave my skin feeling soft, comfortable, and smelling absolutely delicious! 😍 The Scrub ’N’ Mask has a clay consistency with little green scrubbing agents which I believe are Brazilian quartz crystals. Other exfoliating agents included are tropical volcanic pumice, and rice grain. You can use it as a mask like I did in the video, by applying it and leaving it on your skin for 10 minutes or until dry. You can also use it as a scrub by applying it to wet skin and massaging it on. I like to use it as both by leaving it on as a mask and then as a scrub when I rinse it off. It leaves my skin feeling really soft and clean, and it also has a delicious scent! How cute is the size of the Bum Bum Cream by the way?! 😊I got it as a @sephora perk with my points. 💛 I’m kind of obsessed with it right now.
