One thing that I really enjoyed about YWMTBH is the thread with Hannah implying that Levi cares more about Crane than he lets on. Hannah describing it as love.

What I like is that it isn't resolved. Crane doesn't question Hannah and doesn't mention it to Levi, even though he does dwell on it. He never gets an answer about how Levi feels about him, or how Levi feels about the baby and the pregnancy or even about the hive.

And the thing is -- it doesn't matter how Levi feels. His potential feelings towards Crane don't matter when compared against his actions. It doesn't matter if Levi loves Crane, in the same way that Tammy's love for Crane doesn't matter because she chose the hive and lets them force a pregnancy on Crane. Love doesn't absolve them of their abuse towards Crane.

And the truth is, in situations like this, you often don't get closure. You often never find out if someone loved you, or why they hurt you. It might be something that you cling to and question but even if they answered, you don't know if you can trust them.
