i can't get newjeans out of my head. maybe that's why i like cortis. 5 members, 'fresh music' and it's elements from black music (?) i don't really know about that, nwjns has elements of rnb, hiphop, dance pop, cortis has rap music, blue lips sounded like the kind of sad music rap artists make from time to time, i dont know much about that though so im probably wrong. fashion is literally praise da lord, both of them have the same 'teenager, natural' vibes with styling colouring, maintaining the group in interviews, 5 members, songs about food, cookie and acai, fresh-ness of being authentic, their styling being like normal teenagers (hybe boy era and then cortis until now) having different versions of albums with newer concepts, being able to keep that originality vibe by not having having teen-girls but boys who make their own music. the only benefit being that cortis is under bighit and hybe has more control over bighit than it did over ador. it feels like hybe tried to recreate the newjeans feeling but in boygroup so nobody would notice, newjeans going viral for dance practices, cortis going viral for dance practices, newjeans going viral for concept and freshness, same with cortis, both of them becoming INSANELY popular as just rookies, having mvs for every song, behind the scenes videos with funnier editing, keeping it GenZ with their shorts and reels, showing their 'real selves' it's all too much deja vu do i just miss newjeans?

cortis going viral for not knowing they won reminded me so much of newjeans in 2022, cortis getting praised for their reactions when newjeans always did that for every performance they saw

anyways i think i might be the only one who noticed this cause i see no one talking about it cause i guess people have a life lmaoo, bhut yeahhhh also i think it would be easier to keep control over the entire project since cortis is under bighit and newjeans was under ador, lol
