Hey Altair!! (It’s me Nightmare / Gloomy from YT) I’ve been really nervous to ask you these questions but I really wanna know it’s about your Zodiacs new lore & just random facts about them so I hope you don’t mind the list of questions I’m about to pass your way (And not throw them at you, just slide them to you peacefully)

1. Were the zodiacs themselves humans before like in the old version of the story or are they complete deities in the new version of the story? If they were human before, would they have died or been transformed by the planets?

2. Out of all the zodiacs, who would you say was the easiest to design & who would you say was the hardest?

3. What are the zodiacs relationships with their ruling planets? And what are the pampers personalities like?

4. Out of the 4 main cast (Astraeus, Nadia, Cedarus & Flint) who was the easier to redesign & who was the hardest

5. Is it weird to headcanon that Flint might have purposely started a fire near in of the zodiacs realms/kingdoms just to annoy whoever lives in the villages? (Sorry if it is, It felt like something he’d probably do)

6. How old is Talu? If they have an age?

7. Do the zodiacs/constellations have friend groups with each other?

8. Scorpio didn’t do anything to you, fi he? (Saw the pic of him appearing behind you, pls tell me you ran)

Hii nightmare !! It’s alright and don’t be afraid to ask me about anything! I’m always ready to share the lore and things (totally not to make up for the past story nooooo) Ask as many questions as you want ✨

1) In the newer story the zodiacs or houses are deities/ celestial like beings having their own folklore. Some have indeed ben of celestial blood from the beginning however others have been partial celestial now turned full. Reasons being their symbols were placed on them (zodiac symbol) from early on and once they had proven themselves they could transform fully. The planets in the story are now called the Covenants basically the first celestials. Short answer : a mix of both 👍

2) The easiest so far had been a tie of Leo and Virgo. Mostly because with Leo it was easy to come up with a role for her, plus her character is to the point. Virgo just evened out nicely over the process, especially since I got his character locked down.

The hardest has definitely been Gemini. Mostly because I had almost too many ideas when it came to them and their role that I almost lost myself 😭. They by far have the most renditions or concepts second place being Aries/ Sagittarius.

3) Well their relationships are that of almost a mentor or parental figure. Some distanced themselves from the Covenants as they are hard to contact and honestly some don’t try. The most interactive one is Luné and Solaris (Sun and moon respectively) who simply do their jobs.

4) The easiest to design was Cedar by far, as I love prophet characters so much. The hardest I’d say is Flint because it’s hard to tell his story through his character without spoiling everything 😭

5) In the current story, I’d say Flint won’t directly insult the celestials (personal reasons) but he would make slight jabs towards them in little ways. As for the fire part he would make the offering fire a bit too big if you get what I mean🫡.

6) Talu is a baby at the start of the story, just a lil fella so I’d say around few months old.

7) They in fact do! Usually celestials of the same region are in contact however their connections branch out way past that. Some have been friends since their earliest days of being a celestial such as Tauros and Libra

8) It all went well, I believe.

gemini: how often will your plot change throughout the course of writing?

I'll start jotting dotting down notes for a fic, then sit on it for a few days.

An idea would pop into my head during that time period and almost immediately I go "Screw it I'm saving that for another fic. There's way too much going on." Cut and paste the other idea in a separate document, then come back to it later

Other times I think "This person's going to do ____ instead of _____ for a change." I try not to write the same thing over again. Sometimes I fail at doing so, but that's okay.
