I feel so bad ya'll, when I first read their request I thought they wrote "my character, LONE CRYING PEARLS," when they wrote "My character, Ione crying pearls." I thought Lone Crying Pearls was a cool name and not her dang character Ione who would be crying literal pearls. 4. favourite dish specific for your country?i. dont know many specific norwegian dishes? like the one that jumps to mind is smalahove but thats (a) more of a southern norway thing and (b) its literally a stuffed sheep head and Does Not sound appetizing to me. actually can i say pizza? because norway does have a weirdly huge pizza love we genuinely eat The Most pizza in the world, and Grandiosa, the biggest pizza brand in norway, is really good. so yea Grandiosa pizza is my answer

7. three words from your native language that you like the most?fuck i have to pick words. um. excuse me while i go google for norwegian words because my mind is blankinghyggelig is a nice word. which wow i didnt even plan that it literally means nice. but yea i like that one. one person online mentioned rumpetroll which yes thats a fun one. it means tadpole but literally its butt ogre. which i have no idea why that is but now that its brought up its a fun wordand just to be cheesy, kjærlighet. which means love, but even more than in english implies romantic love, and taking it apart it means something like dearliness. were good at just putting words together and making them mean cute things.idk if those are the ones i like most but i definitely like those three so im going with that at least you get three of my faves.

28. does your country have a lot of lakes, mountains, rivers? do you have favourites? Norway has. so many mountains. like 90% of the country or smth is mountain. my favorite would probably be Store Ste (Big Anvil, to differentiate it from the neighboring Lille Ste/Little Anvil), which is the most recognizable mountain next to where i grew up and its basically the archetypical mountain for me. ive never been to the top bc im lazy but i should at some point thatd be fun

This is another thing I really try to be, especially online.  The internet is chaotic and messy enough, why should I contribute to that? I’m often unaware of my conduct offline, and things that come from good intentions offline often get seen as really rude.

So somewhere that I have a buffer, can read what I intend to say, and have better control over myself?

It’s a very wonderful thing.

(I also don’t delete posts partly because I prefer to have records of my own stupidity.  Though I don’t have the chatlogs from my IRC days, because hoooooo boy.  I’ve said some hideous things.)
