Alterhumanity rooted in disablity (zooanthropia, psychosis, delusions, neurodivergence, etc.) deserves to be seen and validated. Shoutout to my disabled aletrhumans ! You're cool and legit.

There is a bird in the airport, I repeat, there is a bird in the airport
One thing that causes complication is feeding.
Humans often see sharing or giving food as a sign of friendship, but to me, feeding is a part of a courtship ritual.
It is hard to explain to humans that giving food means so much more to me, they wouldn't be able to understand.
With my species, you don't just give food to anyone. Parents feed young, mates feed eachother, potential mates feed eachother for courtship. Feeding isn't a platonic gesture if you're not my parent.
But with humans, its seen as rude to decline food. It's the same reason I don't do physical touch or receive gifts. They aren't platonic gestures to me.
I am a strong believer in the idea that mentally ill and delusional creatures deserve to exist in alterhuman spaces, and this isn’t just because I fall under this umbrella. Long before I realized I had clinical lycanthropy I was under this idea. I have no clue where some people get off saying that alterhumans who identity who comes from mental illness or delusions are any different then those who’s alterhumanity comes from spirituality. Saying that you don’t want “crazy” alterhumans in your space because you don’t “want to encourage their delusions” is a shitty thing to say. Change that to any other disorder and listen to how weird it sounds. “I don’t want autistic people in this space because I don’t want to encourage their special interests” and if you are going to say “well delusions are harmful special interests aren’t harmful” that is just straight up wrong. Some people’s special interests can be harmful to them, I have been there myself. I have gotten severely anxious and freaked out about my special interests. I know some people may even neglect themselves because they are to interested in their Spin. Delusional alterhumans have been and always will be valid. I don’t care if you think delusions are a bad thing or make someone evil and crazy. You are ableist. Get a hold of yourself and get out of the community until you fix yourself. You don’t need to understand every single identity but you can be kind
Thinking of how it'd feel to cross over a large river with my mate and pups, our search for a summer den still in process.
The air would be hot, but not humid. The water would feel so lovely washing through our thick pelts.
Thinking.
Went on a nice walk around my little corner of our town, bare paws on the cool earth and hard concrete, my four legged son by my side, geared up, it was nice. I was a little hesitant, I had on a muzzle, collar, and tail on, because I would have to pass the high school bus stop and I worried the kids would bother me, but it seems I just missed them luckily. It was a nice walk, wish I had more company though.
Tempted to go back out, sit on my deck with a coffee and just hang out for a couple hours. Rotting outside on a half dead deck bench is better than rotting in bed all day I suppose. My stepmom will probably interrupt me though, which is unfortunate, but that's life I suppose
The good weather is something to look forward to though, so I'm not too upset about her
I miss my wings sm I don’t even miss flying I just miss my wings
For the past few days I have been having strange feelings with my body. I don’t know what the correct terms for what I have been experiencing are
It started with just my arms but has recently become my whole body. I feel like I have the anatomy of a sea otter, like my arms feel like they are small and furry, and I have paws. My legs feel short and like there are flippers
I feel like a sea otter standing on its hind legs. But I know I don’t look any different than before. I know nothings changed but I half expect people to react.
There’s probably a word for this but this doesn’t happen to me very often. Or for this long. As confusing as it is it’s kinda nice, I’m usually aware of how wrong my body feels but this time it feels normal as long as I don’t look my actual form
