Hey.
So this is Mod Q, of Ask-Another-Clone. So funny story…I was trying to delete a side blog and ended up deleting the entire blog…So…Here we are. I have to start all over. It won’t be over night, because honestly my mental health is slipping, but I’m going to try and start over. I ask that you please be patient with me as I try and restore what I can. Hey I know I haven’t been here in a while hi but I’m just gonna say for anyone in the pokeask community:
You aren’t allowed to disagree with peoples’ existence. You don’t get to disagree with people being gay or trans or nonbinary or any other lgbtq+ identity. That’s like disagreeing with whether or not gravity exists. It makes you look like a dumbass and it’s also just fucking wrong.
I’ve seen blogs in this community that I actually loved and respect come out to defend this and honestly? Gross. Sorry if I don’t sound very nice but you’re gross.
Know where I, the mun, and every character on this blog stands on this matter: If you disagree with my existence or the existence of anyone in the lgbtq+ community you’re wrong. You’re not welcome here.
An opinion is something like “oh hey I didn’t like x movie” or “I think that I should get a longer break at work” not “I think that a certain group of people don’t exist/are wrong and sinful for existing”
An opinion is an opinion until it invalidates the rights and existence of others. Then it becomes bigotry.
@rainpath5466 is a bigot plain and simple. Nobody slandered her. Nobody is trying to defame her. A trans person shared all the awful things she’s said and she said that she stands by all of it. And to any of my friends here in the pokeask community, stay away from @helpbraixen , @ittakesavillagepmd , @askpmdorks , and @asklepidoptera . She runs all of them. Block them please.
I want you to know that as someone who was raised on the bible, you all make me want to vomit. The way you have misconstrued what the bible and the teachings of God and Jesus have said about love and acceptance and took it as a chance to hate others for their “sinful” existence is disgusting. You took the writings of the bible, misinterpreted and mistranslated it, and now you hide behind it like it’s a shield that keeps you from having to examine and grow from your own bigotry and biases. Jesus held the hands of prostitutes and sinners. He loved them not despite the fact that they sinned or in a “I still love you even if you’re bad” kind of way, but out of nothing but respect and acceptance for who they are. You are nowhere near that. You are literally the exact opposite.
The bible never spoke of homosexuality in its original texts. It never spoke of transgender people. It never once condemned either of those things. You’re just fucking wrong. Know that the verses you clutch are man-made mistranslations and misinterpretations made from people like you who wanted to make a version of god that let them hate others with impunity. Know that god would never condone any of your actions, and that you tarnish all that he stood for and tought with your “opinions”
And to those defending/agreeing with Rain, I’ve lost too many years of my life to people like you who guilted me over my very existence to ever let that find a foothold in the pokeask community. Go get hit by a bus.

It was a valid question, if anything. A lot of Scrafty around had been ‘ditching’ the hood and pants for hand-made clothes. With most, however, it still grew. With him... He wasn’t quite that lucky anymore.
A free claw moved momentarily to his neck, claws softly scratching over scales as he took a sip of the drink he currently had in his hand. By rights, he had not much to say to this unknown Scrafty, it simply wasn’t his business. But then again, he had promised Shade he would... Play as nice as could be. Small talk was assumingly part of that.
As to how he lost his own ‘hoodie’ and ‘pants’ however...
The other didn’t need to know.
A simple answer, a satisfying one he hoped too. Aesthetics was as good as anything. Some people, he found, went very *far* to stick to their aesthetics, after all.

With the quarantine going on, I totally forgot it was Mermay ;~; I LOVE mermaids sm dude you don’t even know, so I had to give my boy Rips a Mermay design. Honestly I’m not super experienced with drawing mermaids fjdkghdfjk but I hope to be able to do more Mermay stuff as this month goes on! I just wish I had more OCs to do things with lol. Who knows- Trixter may be next up *eyes emoji*

“Sick,” Rips whistled, “then if you’re ready, you can let me go. Just follow my lead from there, and I won’t let you fall.”
The two Scrafties were perched at the highest point of the bridge’s supports, with the nearest thing for anyone to hold onto being a horizontal steel beam a few feet above Chance, which Rips could hold us just comfortably enough. If they were going to climb up to the bridge itself, they would have to leave the horizontal beam, make their way a few feet down the arch until they reached one of the vertical supports that they can climb, and then scurrying up to safety.
“I’ll start moving over towards that beam over there.” Rips took his other hand off of Chance and pointed behind him to a lower part of the arch. “We’ll go from there, alright?”
Chance swallowed nervously, his mouth was still dry from all the stress. He darted his eyes down to the arch and back up to Rips a couple of times, and gave a quick nod.
“Yea, alright… fine, sure…. good.” He scooted away from Rips a little bit in order to give him clearance to take the lead. “Y-you go first, then… I’ll follow you, uh..” He looked back up to the other. “Uh, what’s… your name again?”

Taking the lead given to him, Rips crouched down and let gravity slide him down the arch, his claws landing with a clatter against the target pole. As he lifted himself back to his feet, he heard Chance’s question.
“Huh? Oh- uh. . .” Rips almost said his real name, but feeling his breath in his mask reminded him that he had an identity to cover. As harmless as this guy seemed, revealing Deep Wound’s real name could lose him his anonymity. “Just call me DW. . .”
The larger Scrafty wrapped his claws around the steel beam and hoisted himself up to a another horizontal beam a few feet above. “I don’t really like giving out my real name to people if I can help it- now come on over here so I can hoist you up.”

Rips rolled his eyes, though his gaze tendered a bit through the hazy goggles. It was clear Chance was scared, and definitely more so of the height than of him. Plus, the tiny Scrafty was pretty adorable in the same way that a crying puppy pokemon would be- and Rips wouldn’t feel right just telling him to suck it up.
“Trust me, dude, if I wanted to throw you off, I could have way sooner.” Rips shifted his balance, managing to center long enough for the two to pause. “Look just… I would lift you, but I don’t think I can carry you and keep my balance at the same time- we’re gonna have to do it together if you want to actually get down from here.”
Rips took a listen again… still no sound of a train coming. They had time, and the top of the bridge was only a few feet above them. Rips had more than enough height in his jump to make it, but the problem came down to Chance- Would the little guy be able to make it? Granted, he’s still a pokemon, so he might be surprised by what he’s capable of; the two would have to cross that bridge when they came to it.

Chance felt his face flush with humiliation. Sure, it was rather undignified of him to be clinging to a stranger like this, but he would rather be undignified than dead.
“Uh…! N-no way!!” he squeaked, trying (And failing) to put some power behind his voice. “I-I don’t trust you. How do I know you won’t t-throw me of the edge if I let go of you, huh?? At least this way, you’d be coming with me!”
Chance was holding on tight, but his grasp was not restrictive. This guy couldn’t very well save him if he didn’t have full range of motion on his limbs now, could he?
He squeezed himself against the other’s solid frame, suddenly noticing just how built this guy was. Wow… he is pretty fit… Chance pondered. Surely someone as beefy as him would have no trouble lifting all 40 lbs of me… And then some…
He suddenly shook his head. Now was not the time to be thinking of such things. “S-so you see, I can’t let go of you!” Chance continued. “It’s the only way I feel safe!”
That might have come out wrong.

he began to sway the hand around like a ragdoll as he stated, “This Lil scraggy boy I once followed home had the courage to smash my face in with some- Oh I don’t know, something made of glass- while I broke into his house” Lajos’ voice grew louder “I was pissed - at the time of chasing him, I forgot shards were still in my cheek!”
“My beautiful face was never the same after that~” His tight grip was withdrawn, yet his severe glare wasn’t from the additional scrafty “I also suggest you refrain yourself from touching me again.”

"Hah hah.... Hey Rips..." Chance sounds a bit nervous and unsure. "I guess today is Valentine's day? That's pretty dumb, right?"
“Oh, well if you think it’s dumb, then I guess you probably don’t wanna see the gift I got you then?” Rips hummed, a playful lilt in his voice.
In his short time knowing his meek mannered friend, Rips had grown more and more fond of him, noticing the way he ducked Rips’ gaze, the way he laughed that awkward laugh so much more heartedly when the spraypainter was the one telling the joke, the crack of his cockney voice whenever Rips was around- all of it made Rips suspect that what he felt for Chance, that little tug at his heartstrings, might have been mutual.
Rips took Chance by his clammy hand and gently guided him down the alleyway in which they were meeting, and when the two reached its end, Rips gestured towards a bright orange and yellow spraypainting at the end wall.
“It’s cute, right? I heard some people were callin’ us that, since we were hanging around each other so much.” Rips laughed and grabbed the back of his neck.

I’ve actually been thinking about how Rips would probably be more like,,, athletic body-wise? He does parkour all the time and jumps around and stuff.
Either way this actually got me really inspired to try drawing buff Rips more and experimenting with drawing muscle so before I ramble on too much aaaaaa I love it!!!! Thank you bro!!!
What inspired you to make art?
This is a good question! If I’m being honest, I was inspired to actually start doing art consistently when I first made this blog back in May of last year. This used to be just an rp blog, but then I got a drawing tablet and drew my own icon and stuff and answered a few rps with drawings.
Later on I decided to turn this blog into an ask blog, and from there I really began to love making art. Another thing that really inspired me was the @creators-guild Camp Micle Event last summer! I joined it on a whim, and I had so much fun and made so many friends. Later I was invited to the server by my friend @kaidacreator and the rest was history.
That group really was what inspired me more than anything else. Their encouragement and camaraderie was what pushed me to do what I really loved and to get better at art. Now I’m working to get a job as an animator and am taking online commissions as a freelance artist, so really I’m so thankful for what inspired me to take up art, because without it I’m not sure I would have pursued my dream at all.

Chance stood there frozen for a second or two longer, his grip on the other’s hand never letting up. Rips’ tight hold did something to ease his anxiety. Locking eyes with the other, seeing them soften behind his mask, and hearing his comforting words did the rest. Maybe he could trust another Scrafty after all… just this once.
Chance’s cement grip on the scaffolding began to budge a little. In small little jerks, he slowly dislodged himself from the beam, and immediately began to fumble for his balance. Instinctively, he reached to grab the nearest solid thing… which happened to be Rips.
But Chance wasn’t concerned with whether or not he could trust him, anymore. If he held on with both arms, Rips couldn’t push him off without falling as well, right?? That was Chance’s logic anyway, as he wrapped his arms around the stranger and held onto him as tightly as possible. He let out a thin whimper for good measure.
“Jesus motherfuckin-” Being suddenly grabbed with nothing to hold onto, Rips began to stumble and almost sent them both plummeting towards the ground. Thankfully, using his tail for balance, Rips managed to avoid splattering against the ground and kept his footing.
Though they weren’t going to fall anymore, there was still the issue of the tiny Scrafty sticking to Rips like glue.
“Can- ugh-. . . Can you let go? I can’t get us out of here if you’re holding onto me like a kid who just found his mom at walmart.” He laughed at his own joke. Even though he said it wouldn’t be possible, Rips was already planning for the worst case scenario where Chance didn’t let go. He couldn’t weigh more than a small child- or that’s what Rips guessed. If it came down to it, he could always lift Chance up.
