it’s so insane to me that fourth grade paul simon saw art garfunkel sing at an impromptu fourth grade talent show which inspired him to learn how to sing himself and STALK GARFUNKEL FOR TWO YEARS before he got the chutzpah to talk to him for for real. and this was the origin of one of the most successful folk acts of all time. how can you not be romantic about simon and garfunkel?

An old lady from my synagogue went to my aunt's seder this year. She told us that teen-Art Garfunkel was a counselor at the camp she used to go to and that he would walk around camp telling kids "My name is Artie Gar and I'm gonna be a star"
