November, Month of the Inquisition (Day 4)
Dragon Age: Inquisition comes out on the 18th of this month, and the Initial Sisters would like to count down to it with you all by reflecting on the previous games and answering a question a day. Some questions taken from the Dragon Age 30 Day Challenge.
Day 4/18: What companion are you most intrigued by/excited to meet in Dragon Age: Inquisition?
J: TOUGH question because they all look AWESOME. But I am going to go with Dorian. I’ve wanted to meet (like, really meet, not just in passing before you kill them) a mage from Tevinter for a long time… And now that we finally have the opportunity it comes with a glorious moustache and sarcastic attitude. I cannot wait to go cavorting around Thedas with him!
M: My answer to this one changes pretty much daily, but right now I’m leaning towards Solas. Maybe it’s because I recently devoured Masked Empire and am very excited by the implications of that book on the state of Thedas and elves in Inquisition. Regardless of whether or not Solas will shed more light on things revealed in that book, his alternative use of magic, PLUS his interest in the Fade (a personal point of intrigue for me), PLUS the amount of mystery around him as a character (origins, motivations, etc), PLUS the fact that Patrick Weekes wrote him, all have me anxious to get some answers to all my questions about him.
C: ALL OF THEM Reading Asunder left me really, really interested in what Cole will be like in Inquisition. He was fascinating throughout the book and now that he is “self-aware” so to speak, I’m really interested to see how that has impacted him.
Remember when we were sweet summer children, pre-Inquisition?

I find it really interesting that Bethany seems to take a turn for the worse much quicker than Carver when infected by the taint. The above are screenshots from the same scenes, but Bethany’s infection is way more visible.
I’ve made Carver a Warden a few times, but Bethany only once, so I was quite alarmed to see how badly she was doing. Is it supposed to foreshadow, I wonder, how well each sibling does in the Wardens? Emotionally, I mean? Carver is, after all, much happier as a Grey Warden than Bethany.
