Hi guys serious post time because I had a random thought I feel like more people need to know about
So as someone who lives with chronic illnesses and mental disorders that deeply impact my daily life, I can say with absolute certainty that saying certain things can genuinely hurt people and do a lot more damage than you may think. For instance, telling someone who struggles with a manic disorder that you’re “manic” for doing something slightly out of character for you, is insanely hurtful to people struggling.
I know very well that some people are just uneducated, and I understand that. So hopefully with this post people will learn a little bit or maybe do some research about it because even the little things make a difference.
Anyways sorry for the long post but there’s my thoughts
Adding to this a few months later because something else crossed my mind, nobody should be allowed to say “it’s ok that I did *insert horrible action/joke* because of my undiagnosed mental health disorder” because actually no it is not. First of all, having a mental illness is not an excuse for doing something genuinely horrible or harmful. And secondly, it’s especially not when you’re undiagnosed!! Just making things up and acting like that’s going to make what you did better? No! That’s not how that works.

Aww

Hey man. I get it. We all have our moments. But listen up! Put those feet together! Hands up! We got this! You got this! Around and around! Prosper. Deceit only deceives those who aren’t aware of the truth.
This is something else bro thanks ig

Idk but uh yea
Toby is training to go monster hunting. Leviticus does not appreciate this, for she herself is a monster.
This is not what I usually post but like I hate when someone is having a panic attack and people immediately swarm around them and try to help. Speaking from experience, it only makes things worse. It’s easier to just be left alone to sort things out, and if help is needed they’ll reach out.
Of course this isn’t true for everyone, but I wish people would ask before trying to act like a good person. You’re only prolonging it.
