Thank you @baede-6 for tagging me in your post, I have done my best to copy the questions your post had and answered them myself!

What's the origin of your blog's title?

It is the same as my bungo username and the reason for that is simple! Back when Bungie gave players a free name change, I decided it would be funny to name myself this due to the downright stupid amount of times that Taniks (or some form of Taniks, cough cough nightmare Taniks cough cough) has been brought back only for the guardians to get him again.

Favorite Fandoms:

Off the top of my head, I’d have to say Destiny, Transformers, The Dragon Prince, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and damn near everything Andy Weir has written(The Martian, my beloved. Along with Project Hail Mary, currently reading Artemis)

OTP(S) + shipname:

I don’t have any personal oc ships but in terms of Destiny, I. Love. Many of the relationships already in there. Such as Drifteris and Saintsiris.

Favorite Color:

I personally like red, especially when paired with black.

Favorite Game:

I can’t pin it down on any one thing but my most beloved games would have to be Destiny 2, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations (along with Black Flag), and Minecraft!

Hobbies:

Besides playing games, watching movies, or listening to music, I enjoy writing Haikus down in a journal that I have (please ask me what Haikus I have I am desperate to share them)

If you could have any job you wish what would it be?

I’ve always wanted to be a video game developer, especially in regards to narrative. That’s mainly due to the fact of what the narrative team at Bungie have created, like how was I supposed to read ‘Hope is a currency. It buys tomorrow. It gives us what we need to survive today.’ And not go insane thinking about it. I’ve always wanted to create something like that for other gamers.

Making other people smile.

Getting over procrastination.

Being calm under pressure and being that anchor for other people when they’re stressed

See hobbies, I love creating a haiku when any muse strikes!

Easily Destiny 2, I could talk about the lore for hours!

I could go with broad stuff like a well-known rich person doing a well-known gesture on live television and other people bending over backwards saying that the gesture wasn’t *that* gesture. But besides that, I’d say getting error-coded while in the middle of a raid with friends on Destiny. Yeah that’s something that I’m pretty sure is hated universally.

Something you collect:

Transformers legos! I’ve only recently started it to the point where I only have less than five but I’m happy with what I have so far! I also like to collect Destiny 2 merch. I’ve got some shirts and a jacket right now!

Hmmm, I think I forgot it.

What's your love language?

I’m a firm believer that everyone needs at least a little bit of each love language. Of course, it varies in volume and from whom you are receiving it from. I think my the biggest one I like getting is physical touch! I love hugs, give me all of the hugs.

Favorite movie/show:

Favorite movie is definitely a tie between Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and Across The Spider-Verse. My favorite show might have to be Young Justice! Either that or Arcane, or Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. It’s hard to choose!

Favorite food:

Easily my dad’s smoked steak, I swear each and every time I take a bite into that stuff, it’s like I’m tasting heaven itself.

Favorite animal:

Gotta go with both wolves, bears, and owls!

Are you musical?

Oh absolutely, I really should take a video of myself killing it at any karaoke. Besides that, I love me a good musical. Personal favorites are Hamilton and The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals.

Favorite subject in school:

I’ve always loved theatre classes!

Least favorite subject:

Gonna have to go with science, that was a field I definitely struggled in.

Hmm, I think I’d have to say how forgiving and understanding I am towards others

How unforgiving I am to myself, I am getting over it though. Bit by bit

Hm, I don’t know. I like my day as it is

If you could travel in time,who would you like to meet?

Kevin Conroy, Lance Reddick, and Stan Lee! I want to meet them just so I can thank each of them for building key parts of my childhood.

I don’t read a lot of fanfics. But there are some posts by u/RewsterSause on Reddit’s r/DestinyJournals that I love to read. Rewster is one talented writer!

honest to god funniest bit of writing in Destiny is having Variks speak Like That and then the moment other eliksni with speaking roles get introduced they all just talk normal-style. like they don't even click between statements or anything or break up their sentences weirdly they all just talk regular. and then eventually one of them (i think Spider?) just drops the fact that Variks can 100% speak normally too and he's doing that shit on purpose

Got to read through the Sorrow's Coronet Shell lore today (spoilers ahead)

I was beyond excited to see Shin Malphur mentioned again in the lore and have him connected to the modern Dredgens and recent plot points. This specific lore entry had a lot of grit and really just summarizes everything I enjoy about Shin + the attitudes and actions of other well known Hunters. Glad to see he is still around doing the same job he has been doing this entire time.

Renegades did a good job at showing a bit more violence in the game as well, one example being Bael getting his hand cut off and having that SHOWN in a cutscene. You see similar stuff in this lore entry w/ the detailed gore and hard description of another guardian bleeding out.

THIS IS WHY SHIN IS THE GOAT.

Not entirely sure how to word this, but I’ve always loved the entire concept of Ghosts as a way to justify a revive/respawn mechanic.

In pretty much every game I’ve ever played that has a revive/respawn mechanic, it’s never explained as to how it works. Which isn’t really that big of a deal to me; it’s a game mechanic that allows you to keep playing the game, case closed.

And then you have Destiny. Get gunned down by a Cabal turret? Your Ghost will have you up in a hot second. Did another Guardian fire a rocket a bit to close to themselves? Go interact with their Ghost to rez them. Did you finally kill that bastard camping an ammo spawn in Trials? Better make sure their teammates can’t get to their Ghost, or they’ll be back up doming you from halfway across the map in seconds.

Except your Ghost is more than just a flying respawn machine. He can hack stuff, mark things on your tracker/radar thingy, oh and he’s an entire character with a personality who reflects the personality of your Guardian, who barely speaks.

The nonverbal communication and interactions in cutscenes between the two are fuckin immaculate. The way Ghost tilts the parts of his shell to express emotions - annoyance, shock, excitement, curiosity… and your Guardian reacts to him usually with a glance or a look, like… idk they just kinda get each other.

But while he is your Ghost, he’s not YOUR Ghost. By which I mean, Ghost is his own, independent character. He’s not a reflection of you or anyone else, and that’s made clear when his opinions and thoughts don’t align with the actions of you as the Guardian. In a lore thing from Forsaken I believe? there is a list of things he wishes he could say to you. One of those things is how he sees that you’re going on a rampage through the Tangled Shore, and justified by the death of Cayde-6 as it may be, he doesn’t like it; it scares him. But he still loves you - that’s also on the list, and even during Beyond Light we see this when he continues to stay by our side even as we start wielding the Darkness in the form of Stasis.

That’s not to say he can’t be vengeful himself. In the lead up to the final boss battle with Savathun during the Witch Queen campaign, Savathun taunts you and your Ghost. This isn’t anything new - bosses taunt you before and during boss fights all the time in Destiny campaigns - and usually you react by wiping the floor with them, without a word in response. Except this time, Ghost is PISSED, essentially says “how fucking dare you, you killed my friends”, lists a bunch of shit the Hive have done to humanity (most of which you personally have been affected by as a combatant against the Hive), and ends off by telling her that he would rather die than serve the Hive.

Speaking of the Witch Queen, we also get to see that Ghost isn’t perfect; he absolutely despises other Ghosts who joined the Hive, and makes that abundantly clear. He’s also extremely suspicious of Fynch, the Hive Ghost who helps you out in the Throne World. Ghost is kind of an ass to Fynch, because to him, the Ghosts who joined the Hive under Savathun betrayed the Traveller and humanity. But when he realizes that most of the Hive Ghosts like Fynch were coerced into helping the Hive in their search for their Guardians, he outright APOLOGIZES to Fynch. It’s actually a pretty cool moment in the story, and it shows like… yeah, he’s capable of making mistakes, but he’s also capable of at least trying to fix them.

Also he was really funny that one time when the Drifter didn’t show up to run tactical for you in Beyond Light, so he did an impression of him instead lmao
