If they constantly belittle you, and have ‘banter’ that is very close to bullying, then it’s not your fault. If they never check up on you, then make sure they’re not the centre of your world.

It hurts when you think you’ve finally made it into a group of people and feel like you belong, then it all collapses. When they all laugh at you, and not with you. When they treat you like the dumbest person there. I can’t wait to move. I’m spending my time with more positive people. Rant over.
