I think more people need to play around with Damian's speech. Don't get me wrong, I love the antiquated Victorian child style of speech, but also he's a teenager that swears plenty in the comics. We really need more scenes like:

Damian: Father, I regret to inform you that I have been assigned in-school suspension for the next three days.

Bruce: What, why?!

Damian: My classmate Kevin was disparaging a female classmate for turning him down, so I called him 'a rizz-less, basic-ass neckbeard bitch' and said I was going to fuck his mom and give her a son she'd actually love.

Bruce: *is completely speechless*

Damian: That is all I needed to tell you. If you will excuse me, I have homework to complete before dinner and patrol.

reading supersons after being exposed to their later friendship via fandom osmosis is so funny because these bitches could not stand each other at first. damian throws jon off a building. jon launches damian into the ground hard enough to leave a crater. they are constantly arguing and cannot work together without a life threatening situation. in a few years these two would die for each other and jon will canonically have damian's heartbeat memorized. hilarious.

Bruce yelled at Tim a little too much on patrol but he doesn’t really know how to say sorry cause what Tim did was super dangerous but he still shouldn’t have yelled so much

Bruce slowly and awkwardly opens Tim’s bedroom door to see the teenager (?) angrily typing away on his computer

Instead of trying to explain himself or fail a stunted apology, Bruce leaves a bowl of Tim’s favorite fruit all cut up and a steaming cup of Alfred’s tea that he made (begged) the butler make

And under the cup of tea is a sticky note with a small heart

The next day Bruce knows things are all good between them cause Tim bumps against his shoulder lightly as they pass each other in the hallway

The next time Dick is mad at Bruce (rightfully so) they spend an entire week not talking to each other

Bruce isn’t and never has been good with using his words so… he writes it all down in a letter. But one page turns into two, two turns into five… now there’s too many

Bruce stuffs them all into his drawer and decides to find another way to apologize

Dick wakes up from an afternoon nap in his apartment and barely chokes back a scream because for some reason his dad’s hulking figure is towering over him silently

Bruce takes Dick out shopping for whatever he wants, no questions asked

They go from shop to shop. Sometimes getting new trinkets for Dick’s apartment, or clothes, lots of unhealthy food that Alfred would definitely say something about, and gym equipment

They don’t talk about their argument, but when they get back to Dick’s apartment as the sun is setting, Dick gives him a tight hug and they go in their way

The next time Bruce calls just to check in, Dick actually answers
