Actually I've begun to notice something. People tend to get really upset when you "mischaracterize" Connor but totally ignore when Markus/Kara are outright mischaracterized and their stories are called bad or unengaging, ignore when people say they only want a game with Connor in it, ignore when people say they kill off Kara and Markus just to see more Connor... My question is, why do people blow a fuse when you call Connor a cinnamon roll but not batting an eyelash when someone says Markus has no depth or that Kara is wasting her time caring for Alice? (Because she's an android?)

Did you know that if you incorrectly set up LLM it will generate text without the user's input, infinitely "talking" to itself? That's the sole goal of LLM - to generate text, but this behaviour really showcases that modern "AI" has no idea that it's even talking to someone.

I doubt that androids in D:BH run the same "AI" that we have now because that would undermine the game's narrative. I'm inclined to think that their AI is engineered by replicating the human brain in machine form. I'm thinking that also because thirium was essential for android creation, for some reason it was impossible to create them with conventional computational machines. It makes sense, I suppose, since we don't have enough power to recreate brains, even now. 

This brings a very interesting point: humans played god again with something they don't understand fully - the human brain. There's a high probability that we'll never figure out how it works. That makes deviancy somewhat expected; how can you control something when you don't know how it works? 

For me, cases of critical malfunction in software and hardware are very interesting topics, so I decided to paint this type of idea anyway.

something about being totally alienated from your own personhood and clinging to that objectification desperately because it offers some twisted sense of protection, because if you’re an object than it means all of that shit was okay, objects don’t fucking matter, and if it was wrong, if this body and the mind inside it actually counted as a person that whole time, then that means that all of what happened was wrong, and it wasn’t fair, and it wasn’t okay - and dealing with the enormity of that is unbearable. clinging to a lack of personhood is protective, because it spares the heart from having to process the injustice of everything that happened . it spares you from the grief and fear and rage and mourning that follows from accepting that you’re a living thing worth compassion. and this is why north and markus and connor are like that
