Sometimes you just gotta say "cluck it" and walk away. 🐓 This is how I feel about this picture. 🤷🏻 The dish, in theory, is very nice, however, the rice hadn't fully cooked in the middle of the pan and I didn't give myself more time to style the picture. If I had I would have chosen a backdrop with more contrast to the gorgeous orange and black colours in the dish. But I still wanted to post it, as it really is a great mid-week easy one-pan dish and I thought you might like it. 📷 with one flash head and narrow softbox It's a recipe my mother-in-law sent me recently. I will definitely give it another go as the flavours are amazing. Roast honey pimento chicken and rice. 🍅 Combine butter, zest of an orange, chopped rosemary, smoked paprika, 2 x crushed garlic and massage into a whole chicken. After cooking the chicken for 45min add juice of one orange, 300 basmati rice, 600 ml chicken stock, a tin of tomatoes, cook for 20 min then add chilli flakes, 1 tbsp honey and tomatoes on the vine and cook for another 15 min. The recipe didn't say so but I recommend putting tin foil over the chicken and rice when you cook it for 20 min and then remove for the last 15 min. I think this way the rice will be cooked through the whole dish. Enjoy and hope you make a better dish of it than I did 😆 .. #foodstylingmedellin #intags #tastytasty #wholechicken #weeknight #tomato #cherrytomatoes #theloserfam — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/poURnFQ
