Still used for ceremony or high matters of lore and song by the High Elves

Grey-Elven or Sindarin 

Language of those Eldar who had not passed over the Sea but lingered on the coasts in the country of Beleriand 

Don’t really yearn for the sea like the exiles, but once they notice it, it can’t be stopped.

Tongue of all those elves and Elf-Lords that are Exiles
