Obviously there are exceptions and we're getting conflicting and new information about covid-19 all the time but by mid-august, I believe we certainly had observed enough cases for experts to put this together at least.
my takeaway:
if you’re sneezing and blowing your nose it’s probably not covid
if you lose your sense of smell or taste and it’s not just because your nose is stuffed up it’s probably covid
if you have shortness of breath it’s probably covid or pneumonia, either way you should go to urgent care
this has been reassuring to me all throughout allergy season
