There is a verse that directly speaks to men about women, saying “…live with them on a footing of kindness and equity” {4:19}. I'm a survivor

After going through 15 years of emotional abuse and not realising it, I am finally, very slowly, healing and coming out the other side. There is hope. Always believe in hope and there is light at the end of the tunnel. It's hard to think about that when you are going through it but try and and have one positive close friend near you who can help you in that process. I'm learning so much about myself now that I may not have known before, and I am the way I am because of what has happened to me. Hopefully I can write about my journey through the healing process, which I know isn't going to be easy. At least this is a start. Always remember stay positive - YOU will get through it.
