Hi all,

Welcome to my blog. This will feature some of my favorite things on Tumblr (mostly fan-based).

Some current facts about me:

Pro-Crowley&Aziraphale. Yes, I know about NG but I love the characters and more specifically, MS & DT’s version. And even more specifically, the supporting fandom around them (including fanart in all its’ forms).

Introverted, so I will only post when I have something to say. (I’ll mostly lurk.)

I’m a cat person. 😸 But I will admit puppies are cute. I don’t like the licking though.

Being in the moment and acknowledging your feelings is more healthy than denial or suppressing them.

If you’re like me lately where every news story either appalls, infuriates or scares you, don’t lose hope!

Case in point: I’m not religious but believe that there is a higher power at work, in whatever form that may be. I believe that the universe gives us little signs that this power is listening and understanding.

With that said, I ordered takeout tonight and prior to eating, verbalized my wish for the universe to put a stop to the current madness (inclusive of the orange menace).

This was my answer/sign in my fortune cookie:

God I love this version

spectacular version. Tennant and Tate are on fire. Their comedic and dramatic chops are outstanding. They both should have gotten Tonys for this production. Tennant has always had the gift of making Shakespeare sound spontaneous and contemporary, but Tate more than holds her own with him.

Update: so the original link didn’t exist anymore but I found a website, digitaltheater.com that not only had it to rent for 48 hours but also has tons of other filmed theater! Needless to say I got my $$ worth of that rent.

This is my favorite play of Shakespeare’s and though I’ve seen many versions (setting/time interpretations) my favorite had been the film done by Kenneth Branagh in which he played Benedict.

Note the Had Been. This version with DT is by far my favorite now due to the 80’s throwback, men in white uniforms, and comedic genius of DT and Catherine Tate.
