Finally got a case for my new phone and ofc, it had to be clear for future polaroids and watercolor doodles!! hehe (It's been months since I last used my watercolors for work other than architectural renderings wah??)
Hi! I just want to say how much I love your travel videos and your handwritting / art stuff 💖 If you don't mind me asking, how do you incorporate the doodles / lettering on your videos? Thank you!! Stay cool 💗
Hello to you!! Aw, thank you so much it means a lot to me because I spend daaays trying to make my videos huhu.
My process is basically: I draw the overlays on Photoshop (on a solid blue backdrop), save it as jpeg, then drag it on top of the clip that I chose on iMovie! There’s a setting for the still image on iMovie “blue/green screen” that you can just click and ~woosh???~ the white lettering is left on top of your video!
Hope this helped hehe thank you!!
Came across this picture of my painting for my friend Aina from last year and realized that this year, I really would love to work on more pieces that push me out of my “ordinary”. I want to create things that I’ve been too lazy/scared/doubtful to try this 2017 and I hope that it’s evident in this blog.
New years resolution: balance my art and school at the same time!!!
Look who is back from the dead :--)
Haven’t posted in what seems to be 1843472384 months because being an architecture student means you don’t have time to do things like this anymore, huhu. The sem is almost over though and I’m so looking forward to spending my Christmas break with my brushes (not for rendering houses though lol #iyak). Here’s a watercolor version of this quote I used before!
Hi I love all your works!! they're so so nice and you're super talented! I was just wondering how do you digitalize your works/ what software do you use? :)
Hey there! So sorry I only got to get back to you now but thank you very much!! Photoshop is the only software I use to edit/create all my digital work :--)
On to the seventh week of my first year of college and I am already dead. HUHU, kidding, but honestly am just really exhausted. Hate that the idea of quitting keeps resurfacing in my head but at this point in my life, I can’t just simply back down from challenges. So here’s to getting through the shadows of life and waiting for the sun to shine out!!! Go @self, you can do it!
Thankful & hopeful, always.
Sometimes, I don’t even have to think hard about what I want to write because song lyrics and calligraphy are always a good idea.
Hello, it’s me...hehe. Self portrait using my trusty watercolors! (I love my green Uniqlo kids parka!)
Nothing is better than a personalized and handmade gift that was created with love!! Really happy with how the drawing of my friend turned out (Hi Aina!!!) because I was never really one for creating realistic looking work. I have been practicing painting people more often now so hooray for trying new things, improvements, and experimenting!
“Thank God for people that remain kind even when the world is not kind with them” - unknown // Made this while on a 12 hour turbulent flight home using my trackpad (lol, what’s new hahah). The background photo was taken at the Queen Elizabeth park in Vancouver.
(Hello!!!! I’m alive and back home! That means that I FINALLY HAVE TIME TO ART AGAIN, YAY! Watch out for new things!)
I stumbled on this quote while reading an article and I think it’s definitely one of my new favorites. And speaking of opportunities, I haven’t found one to draw recently, huhu. Promise to fix that soon!! Hello from Vancouver though :--)
Not typog related, but needed to share some Napa Valley realness I experienced today. Tried Bouchon Bakery macarons and iced mocha for dessert and it was super great!! Am loving their store's aesthetics, yo.
Been gone for awhile, sorry about that!! Have been keeping myself busy by going around SF! But here's my latest creation ft. an over exposed polaroid.
What you do is great. You really have a gorgeous talent that is quite rare that many don't realize how great it is! I hope you don't see this little message as some subjects, verbs, and adjectives, but rather an encouragement to keep on working hard.
Hi there! Wooow, thank you so much :--(( Kind words like yours that are filled with so much love truly make me feel humbled. They inspire me to inspire others through my craft! Thank you, thank you!! ☺️
Call me crazy, but I can never ever get a typography alphabet right?! LOL
