What is Project RETNA?

The goal of this site is to provide the public with an understanding of race from an anthropological lens by exploring the differences between biological and social race. With increased knowledge about the differences between the supposed biological basis and the actual social constructions of race, the site will provide individuals in our society with the knowledge to confront and combat the effects of racism,moving toward a more progressive attitude of human equality. It is our hope that this site will serve as a database of resources on race education for educators, students, and the general public.
