"Hey. Can you pass on a message to Cisco?" Asha asked the detective, happily playing with the handcuffs the older man had put her in.

Joe groaned and rubbed his palm over his face - it drove him absolutely insane that Cisco was so involved with this girl. He genuinely liked her?? Ugh -

"You know what? You caught me on a decent day Asha so shoot - what do you want me to pass on to Cisco while I lock you up and he inevitably does something to get you right back out and i can't prove it? "

Cisco had pushed Joe's buttons a few times in tampering with police files but it wasn't like it was every anything drastically severe.

Joe was less surprised to find he’d made his way to Star City - after finding out Laurel and Sara two of Barry’s friends though he’d never met Sara she sounded great, had a father who was a cop as well Joe had found a kind of kindred spirit in the man and they regularly got together at his home to chat and share the Grey hair inducing stresses of having superhero children. Especially with Sara off on some mission or something -

Wishing the other man a warm goodnight Joe made his way out of the captains house and started down the streets. He stopped for just a moment - feeling something creep up the back of his neck that told him he was being watched. He wasn’t too scared though - if he was in any danger he was pretty sure he wouldn’t have even known the person was there.

“ Considering I just came out of lances house, and he has a highly trained assassin daughter I’m gonna hazard a guess I finally get to meet the great Sara Lance?” god please let it actually be Sara.

Joe looked up from whatever thing Cisco had been showing him, he could not follow him at all but he refused to just ignore the kid, when he heard the familiar sound of the speed force crackling through the air as Barry sped into the room.

“ Hey Bar - you doing okay ? You’re actually on time. ” He meant that with mirth and in good humor but he did always want to make sure Barry was okay.

Exhaling in a clear show of his exhaustion - Joe leaned back in his desk chair with his eyes shut if only for a moment. It’d been hours of non stop work between Savitar and his actual job here at the ccpd. He was running on empty almost - so he could be forgiven when a hand on his shoulder from behind his chair made him jump.

“ ¡¡!! Ah hello I’m sorry - ” he stood up from his chair, cracking his neck to face the young person that had approached him. “ How can I help you? ”
