The Manticore is a Persian legendary creature. It has the body of a lion, the head of a human, sharp teeth, bat-like wings, and a trumpet-like voice. The tail is that of a scorpion and it may shoot venemous spines to either paralyze or kill. It devours its prey whole and leaves nothing behind.
