CORRECT ANSWER I am a stay at home D I am the last line of defense before the goaltender and scouts tried to get me to play in a higher soccer league multiple times bc I was very good at removing the ball from a forward whose control was wobbly bc she had just gotten past one of my teammates & making area passes to my mobile midfielders. And insanely tall people come in two categories: If they're merely tall, and not large, they're just skittish fragile giraffes. The most dangerous thing they can do to you is stand up too fast, faint because their blood pressure dropped, and hit you on the way down like a felled tree.

The tall people who are also large are mostly chill in my experience. Sure some of them must be assholes just out of statistical inevitability, but it takes some edge out of life knowing that someone could try to hit you with a tank and all they're going to find out is whether or not a Leopard 2A7 has a crumple zone. And most importantly they are never tactically prepared for getting bit in the nuts.

kirby dach, who is going on his 8th season in the nhl, filed for arbitration because the team tendered him a two-way qualifying offer that they very obviously don't intend for him to sign (he'd have to clear waivers to go down to the ahl in the first place, for starters)

the deal is constructed as such so they can instead negotiate for longer while keeping him protected from offer sheets (when you file for arbitration you are no longer eligible to be offersheeted)
