When they eventually get together chad can barely handle all the praise and tricks herman learned. He sent him out to find someone better not expecting him to circle back
Robert LOVES food and when he buys it himself most times its instantly gone only time its not is if he needs to save it till he gets money again and well for beef too.
The z-team knows robert is skinny af thats obvious but they think its because he just doesnt like to eat much. visi has bet on a ED.
So they all try giving him bits of their lunches robert hates this cause he doesn't want them pitying him for this and he doesn't think he deserves it.
"I can buy my own food later, enjoy yours."
They kinda just accepted it at that point they still try every once in awhile but answer is always the same
Until they go to a buffet
Robert got his paycheck and went WILD
Treated the team to an all you can eat buffet and they were GAGGED when robert went back for a 9th plate
Eventually robert explains the money issues he had and how food was scarce for him (like hell was he gonna let beef starve tho) so he didnt eat a lot but when he earned that cash and went out it tasted like heaven.
Eventually he'll let them cook for him but for now their gonna show him how to cook
I've seen lots of people headcanon Waterboy as a shark hybrid (various species), a merman or siren, or just generally a fish hybrid of sorts, and I see you. But hear me out.
Eel hybrid
Like, the long spindly body, relatively shy, retreats to a dark secluded space to feel safe, and WILL absolutely rock your shit if pushed to his limit. That's eel behavior!
And the way he dresses could easily hide any hybrid features (which, duh) BUT, another fun eel feature that he could easily hide~
Herm just getting back from a concert waiting at the bus stop and Chad and Alice walking by to go to a bar or something alice says he cant just get ANYBODYS number and chad just says bet and goes up to herman to ask
Could go they recognize each other by voice or they hook up then recognize lol
Waterboy trying to cover his whole body with water (similar to Flambae). He wants to be stronger, more useful... (he cant fly with it, but it could be either used as a shield or in a offensive way kinda like a waterbender)
HOWEVER he loses control and panics. He cant turn it off, he cant see, hear or speak (only gurgeling noises) anymore. He's not drowning, but it feels like he's trapped by his own powers.
Only Flambae is able to help Waterboy by evaporating the water away with his fire. Flambae remembers how he did feel ages ago, when the same happened to him.
Okay so I hc that Herm is secretly hydrokinetic (for reasons) and that it's actually Chad who encourages him to work on that part of his powers because, damn, dude is actually a weapon! He just needs to learn how to control it.
So imagine this happening before they are together. When Chad is still in his "What are these big feelings I'm having for my friend I hate them" stage.
Anyway, I see Herm as being able to force water out through his pores and then he would need to use the hydrokinesis to keep it around him as a shield, but yeah, he gets nervous and the water just pours out of him and swirls around him and he can't breathe and he can't even call out to Chad because his mouth is so full of water so when the other man finally turns to see Herm flailing and panicking he just runs full out and tackles him, pinning him on his front to the floor (so he doesn't choke on his water) and talks him down. Like, yes, he heats his body and evaporates as much of the water as he can, but Chad knows–both because he remembers a few times feeling like he was about to be consumed by his own powers and because he knows Herm–this is more mental than it is physical.
So Chad just holds him and tells him to breathe. "Stop thinking about the water," he urges, grimacing at the water sloshing over his skin before steaming. "Think...fuck, you're in..." He thinks beach, but no, beach is bad right now. Where? "Um, you're in a meadow. Think about that. We're laying in the grass and the water, it's just soaking into the ground. It's draining away. You don't need to hold it because you're safe. We're both safe. Just sitting in the grass, eating fucking pineapple or something."
He feels Herm's body relax slightly under him, the water becoming more manageable. Finally he lets him up and Herm splutters and wipes his face. "Pineapple?"
Chad huffs. "I don't know, you're always eating that shit."
"I'm actually allergic to pineapple." Herm says, and Chad is about to argue that he should give him a fucking break, he was under pressure, but then he sees Herm is smiling at him. "Thank you," he says. "That was scary."
Chad nods. It was scary. He can't actually admit how scary it was, to see Herm so upset, so distressed, with Chad powerless to stop it right away.
"Yeah, so no flood powers," he says, jumping to his feet. He considers holding out his hand to help Herm up, but the idea of Herm holding his hand is making him confused and uncomfortable and...ugh. Fuck.
