Highlights of Saturday a.k.a. Going Outside At Last day:

-"I think I remember how to drive..." (12 days since last behind a wheel)

-Oh my god the SUN she's so beautiful!! Lower humidity than expected and with a light breeze so even at 87 and 3:00 in the afternoon it felt amaaaaaa-zing

-I found a brand-new hardcover copy of The Colo(u)r of Revenge at Half Price Books (the newest addition to the Inkworld series) -- specifically the prettier UK edition with a ribbon bookmark -- in clearance for $3.

-Played Farkle with parents. In the last game Mom got triplets followed by 650 on her first hand, for a starting total of 3150/10,000. Meanwhile, Dad set a possible record of 8 Farkles in one game (non-scoring hands, for the non-players) and just barely made it to 1050 by the end. Even I could not reach 3000. At some point we really were not even playing, just watching her see if she could set a record pace to win (but nope, took her 11 rolls to get to 10K even).

-Splurged on one of these because that's at most the same cost as buying a single drink from a coffee shop, and it tastes the same (THE drink of summer):
