I showed this to my husband and he said he wants four mugs like this in various states of eaten, so he can swap when no one’s looking and make it look like he’s actually eating it.
Yeva from Murder Drones sharing symbolism with Eve from the bibble apart from sharing the same name.
My roman empire is how it's very likely that Yeva is simply named after Eve from the Bible just for religious references. For context Yeva means "Eve" in Russian.
But unironically, its actually fits Yeva's character.
The Solver is constantly asign the devil and god as symbolism. Literally being called robo-satan by Uzi, and the laboratory using a crucifix shaped USB.
But the god symbolism comes from the DD's looking like angels, and the fact that Uzi becomes it's new host and in her essay that her teacher is evaluating, she literally writes "I AM GOD" over and over again lol.
Eve in the Bible and in Christianity is treated as cautionary tale. And in some versions she is solely blame for humanity's fall, unlike in other versions where she is blamed alogside Adam.
But is some versions, Eve is seen as a sign for redemption, salvation for humanity, sign of hope. Learning from her mistakes and rising up from literal hell and becoming a saint. (She is seen as the patron saint of tailoring. And is celebrated on the 24th of December)
Yeva 100% fits the version where Eve redeemed herself and is seen as a symbol of salvation for humanity. Due to being the FIRST AND ONLY succefully patched drone put of hundreds of experiments. Meaning she can use the solver without risking possession. And also stopping the solver from devouring Copper-9 entirely
Meanwhile from the Solver's POV, Yeva fits Eve in the traditional sense, going against God and being punished by it (being killed by an "angel", V)
Also you could see the patch as the forbidden fruit, which also fits Yeva, since again, she is the first succeful patched solver host.
I have found more Eve symbolism regarding Yeva's character but I have no braincells juice rn lol
i love the doormans + n and v being a pack. absolute losers. group nap time at 12pm for them
Once they're all actually comfortable with each other, I can totally see them all doing exactly that. The first time is shocking to them all because they didn't plan it, they just intended to all hang out and talk, but they just got too comfortable and well. Everyone fell asleep eventually. V tried to stay up longer but it's very hard once she's got her partners on her keeping her comfortably warm, being very snuggly.
Waking up first was Nori, who wasn't expecting the two separate cuddle piles to somehow manage to fall onto the floor and combine into one while they all continued to sleep. Disassembly Drones RIGHT there, but asleep and actively hiding her and Khan from view of the door, both of the DDs on them slightly and making them unable to actually get up, even when they haven't woken up. She manages to wake up Khan without him freaking out too badly, but he does still freak out and wakes up Uzi, who is "trapped" a bit underneath V. But she's not going to care, she'll grumble and go back to sleep if N and V don't have to be awake yet lol.
N and V do have to get up at some point though and, well, they're so embarrassed.
When it’s announced that a Bay Area middle school teacher is one of three heroes sent to save the world, San Francisco clamors to rename things to “Ryland Grace.” Grover Cleveland Middle is quick to the draw, becoming Ryland Grace Middle the very next school year. Grace also gets a street, of course, a science wing at Stanford, a state park along the coast — by the time the Beetles return, you could probably throw a rock in San Francisco and hit a Ryland Grace reference.
Eva Stratt, meanwhile, is a stain. Graffiti tucked away in alleys and under bridges, forever painted over by the powers that be. A name meant to be forgotten. Stratt has always known this was part of the deal: after all, humanity needs a villain just as much as it needs its heroes. The best she can hope for is to be erased entirely on Earth.
And yet, light-years away, there is a beloved body of water, its surface dancing with artificial waves, that Ryland Grace wistfully refers to as The Sea of Stratt.
What doesn’t get talked about enough is that, all those 40-something years, Rocky had all the supplies he needed to go back home. He had the fuel, he had the food. But he didn’t. He tried and tried and tried. He kept going. He took measurements, gathered data, built new Astrophage samplers but could never get it right. He maintained the Blip-A, a ship that was built in a hurry and just kept breaking, for over FORTY YEARS. When Grace found him, Rocky wasn’t just sitting idle in orbit. He was still working, still trying, he hadn’t given up. He was tracking the stars, probably to watch for a potential second mission from Erid, when he spotted the Hail Mary in reverse-thrust. Rocky calls Grace brave. Truly, Grace is. But I’d compare Rocky more to Stratt. How much of yourself would you be willing to sacrifice to save your planet? Rocky was willing to stay at Tau Ceti for the rest of his life until he either found a solution, or died.
So, we all know that some of the characters in Slugterra have met or know about Will Shane (mostly the bad guys), right?
I've always wonder that "What they say about Will Shane is wrong or not?" bcuz they're bad guys and they made up stories to make the good one look bad.
Bcuz there's a possibility of chances that they might lied about Will Shane In the past when Eli encounter them.
The villains being butt hurt to the point they would exaggerate or outright lie about stings Will did is such a fun thing to toy around with, especially given what we know about him-
Like the whole thing with Twist! We only know Twist's side of the story about what happened, and to a kid is going to view a lose like that a lot worse than an adult would, to the point it actually did shape Twist's life and influence his actions so much.
Then theres Blakk, and I could go on a long ass rant about him but dear lord the inferiority complex on that man when it comes to Will in particular is insane. He would so use any mistake Will made and throw it Eli's face without hesitation.
And you have Eli having to deal with all this conflicting information like BROO this kid is going to have an identity crisis.
Also imagine if someone was being honest, and recounted something nice? That is also like super messy-
The problem of keeping so much secrets from your son Will! Now you let anyone else shape what the truth is!
Twist is such an interesting case. If you check the story, it could have been just a really bad accident. If will wanted to kill, he wpuld have let both of them fall to their deaths. He knew what witnesses could cause, and still, twist survived. I bet Will felt so guilty about this. But for a kid, this was cold blood murder. A punishment to his family for the crime of trying to survive. Dammit, no matter how I look it, I mourn the lost possibilities.
Even Dana could be a case of missing information. What we have is the story of what she was told. She wasn't even a witness! So, I would love a second opinion. Maybe from Tom himself (if he is alive).
Blakk would exploit that so much. We already see how his versions can be kinda unreliable in Back to Blakk (I prefer to belive the unbeatable master, thank you very much). So, If he had more clarity about the lack of information Eli has about his father, he would make use of it. He would mud on Will's image to the ground, to the point to provide false information.
But my favorite would be a random old case that got distorted with time, and Eli finding a billion tales of the same situation, only to learn that everything was way more mundane.
So, stories in general do reflect the ideas an d problems of a community, right? So what could a musical be about? Probably about slug connection, wanting to leave their home cavern to find adventures, legendary heroes, the surface, and maybe even historical figures. Things like wicked would work well (a retelling of a popular story). Imagine if Alice in wonderland also is a thing in slugterra, but inverse. I do bet the burning world is a popular topic.
The Slugs are 1000% part of musicals. Just not slyrens, funny enough. The last thing you want to make anyone watching your productions is for your public to fall sleep. I imagine many energy/light slugs being part of effects.
I just thought of the possibility of the equivalent of "The avengers, the musical" situation, but with the Shane's. Eli can't even say that's not how it happened because he has no idea of his family'shistory, no one there is alive/found and somehow production made fake papers with Will of Jimmo's signature. The opposite would be some very distant ancestor of Eli getting the Hamilton treatment.
I made a list of my own headcanons of various characters from Slugterra for fun, so here is two characters I finalize:
The Gentleman:
The main reason his right eye have the eye gear is that when he was younger, he protected his brother from a rock being thrown at his face. He took the hit, but it damaged his eyelid/eye socket, so he can’t see too well. Because of that, he usually keep that eye closed, forcing his other eye to see better when shooting.
The brother he protect is Mario Bravado. (yes Brother Theory) The Gentleman is the oldest, and while Mario Bravado is the youngest by two years.
Surprisingly, he didn’t have interest in trick shooting when his parents tried to get him and Mario involved since their father had been one in the past. The Gentleman found slug slinging more fun to do, but he had to work a lot to be good even before the incident.
Has a pet fish at his place, and its name is Mr. P due to being a piranha/fish hybrid.
He does in fact have merch of Mario, and sometimes asks him to sign it, which he later sells online and gets tons of money from it.
Has a collection of good/complex gears, but chooses only the ones that work for him in certain tasks/mission: his blaster and sniper gear. He takes care of his gear seriously and is very organized on where his stuff is.
Still calls his parents, mostly his mom. His father isn’t fond of his work, compared to Mario. He and him have their differences but will talk to each other.
Real name is Luigi Bravado (real funny)
Due to being a mercenary, he has a kill count (47) (When Dana Por fake her death, people think it is 48 but it actually 47)
Being a mercenary, he is very good with combat when hunting targets. Because of that, he has weapons hidden on him, mostly knives. However, when facing bigger targets or smarter ones, he tends to struggle a bit, but he always found a way to come on top (unless you are The Shane)
He got his nickname when he started to treat people and other slug slingers with respect and using big words on them. Also, when he did kills, he did it in a clean way that his nickname started to stick around more. He used to study a lot of words when he wasn’t playing with the other kids. And took inspiration when his mother called him a gentleman once.
In his free time (which is rarely), he analyzes other slug slingers or incoming targets to know what he is dealing with. Or hang out with his brother, and taste his food. If he visits his brother pizza place, he wears a disguise due to people not liking him and having a target on his back. The Gentleman is mostly unrecognizable in disguise since he mastered disguises.
Mario Bravado:
Is the younger brother to The Gentleman by two years. He looked up to him, and still does. He was the reason his brother's right eye is like that and Mario has regret about it. He think he should have taken the hit, but Mario saw how strong his brother was by telling him this was nothing to him. Mario admired and respected his older brother a lot.
When Mario and The Gentleman fought or got into a fight/argument, Mario usually locked himself in his room or went out to a secret spot where he threw rocks at a lake. Afterwards, he apologized to him. While The Gentleman hit cans with rocks in their backyard/home. But after the “incident", he tend to miss all his shots and forced to do something else to feel better.
He has a natural talent for slug slinging, and his parents pick that up and make him try trick shooting, which also have natural talent. He can also apply this talent to other things: Knife throwing, ball throwing, and any types of throwing. When darts are involved, he tends to win a lot and causes him to be banned from bars.
He loves snacks, and has tons of snacks hidden in his home. His slugs love that from him, and they hide their snacks with his too.
Before he left his old life, he have a lot of sponsors, and was given a lot of items/gifts. He got kitchen/furniture appliances, racing gear, blasters, food/drinks, even his mecha was given to him.
He used to have a habit of sleepwalking. It was bad as a kid, but now he has outgrown it. However, after the battle with Dr. Blakk, that habit of his came back.
In his free time, he cooks treats or looks up more recipes to make. Or he calls his older brother to ask what he is up to and sometimes tags along with his mercenary hunts or they go a local tavern to catch up.
Mario doesn’t have a poker face while The Gentleman does.
He wants to have an emo phase, but his parents were strict about him due to having a personal image. So he got piercings on his ears behind his parents' back with The Gentleman when he was in his rebellion phase, The Gentleman got piercings too.
He started the reality show around the age 15. Because of that, he grew up very fast and tended to pick on people's emotions and behavior very easily.
I hope you like these fan headcanon! I got more up coming next!
