Fun Christmas fact: In Denmark grandmas love to snack on pickled gnome butts.

They catch the gnomes in the winter and let the butts pickle all year so they’re ready for next Christmas.

Like most old-people food it’s a bit of an acquired taste so some grandmas add spices to make the butts more palatable for the younger generations.
