“Oh, me? I got here a few days ago, too!” They’ve been walking for a while now. Were they lost? He didn’t mind, at least he was with someone and not making a fool of himself.
Something… scary? What could she possibly want to do that’s scary? Rob him?
He didn’t look too heavy, so she immediately bent down and picked him up bridal style. While he was a bit heavier than she expected, he didn’t weight much more than a super cute girl would weigh. Grinning with excitement, she took a few test steps while holding him before taking off at a run that was definitely much faster than a normal human should be able to run.
She didn’t run too far though before bending her knees and leaping into the air.
“Hahaha! Not as powerful as it would be at Mikagura, but it’s still so great!”
Looking around from their spot in the air, it was easy to locate a building that looked a lot more like a restaurant. Eruna angled herself to glide down towards the building and landed fairly easily on the ground outside it.
Eruna: Uwaaah, I don't remember this part of town being so scary??
Morgan: Um...... Something about this place seems different...
Morgan: It's giving me the heebie jeebies.
Eruna: Oh! I'm not alone! Someone else is hereee—
Morgan: Yes. I am here. In this.......... very creepy street.
Morgan: Eek! What are those shadow things?
Eruna: Are my eyes deceiving me? Have I found a lone flower blooming among the shadows? Oh heart, be still!
Morgan: Um. What?
Morgan: I don't see any flowers

This is not Yilesse, either. The most sensible thing seems to be to find others..and ah, is that a familar face now? Cue nerdy mage moving closer.>

Morgan: < She takes a few steps back, looking at this newcomer with confusion. He claimed to know her... But she didn't know who she knew anymore. Still, he didn't seem to mean any harm... Laurent: ....Oh dear. Well, I suppose I'm not as talented as my mother to be...remembered easily as of yet... <His tone's very sad, despite the smile he's trying to keep. Sad mage.> But yes, I am from Yilesse - and I promise, I am no...ill-wisher. I am...a friend. Although you might not remember me...I am glad to see you safe so far.
Morgan: < Okay what the fuck was he talking about. And why was he looking at her like she just kicked a puppy. Why do things happen so much. > It's not that I don't remember you specifically... I don't remember anything before I came here. < She looked around. > Or, to Koi, rather. Although, your appearance is more familiar than others I've met so far.
Morgan: < She liked his hat. >
Laurent: Hm...how very strange. Perhaps it is because this place is so far from home...but I'm rambling. Even if you do not remember anything before coming to Koi...this place doesn't seem like Koi, or particularly safe. You were - and are - a friend of mine, so...I will help with whatever I can on this strange set of events. That, I promise.
Morgan: < Morgan grinned at him, reassured. She pulled out her tome and wiggled it around to show him, like a child with a new toy. > I still have my tomes! I can take care of myself! <pause> Thank you, though. It's nice to have someone around who isn't a weirdo. < She glanced pointedly at Eruna, who was apparently still laying on the ground. >

Eruna: My cute, magical angel, I only wish to protect you from the dangers of this city!
Sasuke fell asleep in the corner. Too many "moments".
Laurent: Yes, I see that you still have your tomes. As do I - <at this point, he showed the red spell book he held in his right hand> so if need be, I can assist with spell-casting as well. Though, you and Robin were always more skilled than I at that. <Pauses...looks at Eruna.> Was this man...bothering you?
Eruna is up on her feet again in a dramatic hero-like pose

Laurent: Bi...shoe...what. <said in the most stoic tone and expression you can imagine wtf is this>
Morgan: < Oh this guy knows her dad. So he probably isn't lying about being her friend. She's cool with him. > Eh, she's fine. Just annoying.
Eruna: Bishoujo! A beautiful young girl!
Eruna: And that would be me!
Laurent: ... <Raises his brows at that, but says nothing. He's too polite to make a snarky respons just there.> ...Hm. I shall keep an eye on her, regadless. As for this place...it seems like Koi, but...everything is empty. The houses, the 'shops' - even the people seem nothing more than shadows. It's all rather eerie, to say the truth...
Eruna slinks closer to Morgan with grabby hands
Morgan: I thought it was too quiet here. I was just starting to get used to everything being so loud... < pushes her hand against Eruna's face to keep her away nonchalantly >
Eruna: Geh!
Eruna holds her arms out towards Morgan
Eruna: At least let me hold youuuu
Morgan: No.
Eruna falls to her knees
Morgan: You can stay there. Where you're shorter than me.
Laurent: ... <gives Eruna a silent look of dissaproval. Laurent is VERY good at those.> Please don't touch my friend without her permission. That aside...there also doesn't seem to be food, but the 'houses' - some of them - seem open. Perhaps the sensible thing would be to go to one of them for shelter.
Morgan: Maybe we'll be able to find some food in the houses.
Morgan: And did that guy fall asleep in the corner over there?
Morgan: Is that safe?
Laurent: Yes, that is logically a sound idea...but...I don't know if it is safe to fall asleep here. E-excuse me. Sir? Sir? <Nerdy mage moves a little to the 'sleeping guy' to wave a gentle hand in front of their face>
Eruna is suddenly standing up again and next to Morgan looking at the guy asleep
Eruna: Well he did say he's comfortable here.
Morgan: This is a little too comfortable.
Morgan: I got this.
Laurent: All the same, however...I would rather not leave anyone...behind. (he knows too well what feeling alone is like)
Morgan: < gets in his face and screams at the top of her lungs >
Laurent: <...! TAKES A STEP BACK THAT WAS LOUD>
Eruna: WoooaAAH!
Sasuke suddenly wakes up.
Morgan: < smiles innocently > Hello!
Sasuke blinks.
Laurent: <Laurent's just...a little dazed, trying to shake the ringing sound out of his ears...>
Sasuke: You're the giant slug I saw in my dreams?
Sasuke: Huh.
Morgan: Don't be fucking rude, I am not a slug!
Morgan: Nap time's over. We're going to look for food.
Laurent: ...I do not think any of us are related to garden pests here.
Eruna: Do not call her a slug she is a glorious angel from the heavens sent down to bless me in this dark landscape!
Sasuke: Whatever
Eruna: But I'm up for looking for food I am STARVING!
Sasuke: Hn. Alright then.
Laurent: Yes - let us set off and look in some of those empty houses. We stand more a chance against anything dangerous together, do we not? Also, groups make spotting houses easier...
Laurent: ...Like an ever-stretching empty desert...with nobody...ah, never mind. <shaking off...sad memories, there...>
Eruna pats Laurent reassuringly
Morgan: < quizzical look >
Eruna: It'll be okay, big hat guy!
Morgan: Don't call him big hat guy, his name is............ <fuck. she doesn't remember his name.>
Laurent: ...My hat is large, but that is not my name. I am Laurent - and I am a mage.
Eruna thumbs up
Eruna: Nice to meet you Laurent!
Morgan: Hehe that almost rhymed.
Eruna turns to Morgan with a grin
Eruna: Does my magical angel have a name too?
Laurent: Well, I suppose it did almost rhyme, but...I'm alright. Just a bit of a bad memory, is all. <He doesn't have to worry about those as much with friends - even if they don't recall him.>
Morgan: < narrows eyes > I'm not an angel, and if you don't stop calling me one you'll find out just how far from angelic I can be. <grins like she didn't just threaten this person> But you can call me Morgan!
Eruna: Morgan! If you're not an angel then you must be some other divine being! Because I feel blessed just standing beside you!
Laurent: ...Do you want me to gently assure this Eruna to be quiet.
Morgan: No, I've got this. I warned you! < She takes out her tome and opens it to the front page--a mild fire spell. Just enough to light a fire underneath Eruna's ass, if you know what I mean. >
Laurent: <...Well, if he said he wasn't expecting that, it would be a lie. Morgan has always been a strong-willed...prankster missy.>
Eruna is suddenly standing a few feet away, grinning.
Morgan: < ........gdi she couldn't even set this asshole on fire? Well, if it kept her at a distance, it did something worthwhile. >
Eruna: One thing I like about Koi. Despite not being back at school, I've still got my club battle abilities!
Eruna: Still, they're not as good as they would be at school.
Eruna: I've been downgraded.

Sasuke: So...food.
Laurent: ...Yes. Let us get going. <nods gently.>
Morgan: Right! Food. Let's be off, then. < She puts her tome away and starts walking away with a little spring in her step, feeling a bit lighter after almost setting Eruna on fire. > Let's gooo, slowpokes!
Eruna: Ah!
Eruna follows after everyone
Morgan: So she's Eruna, he's Laurent.... What about you, Sleepyhead?
Morgan: < She's peeking in windows as they pass them, but all of the houses seem to be entirely empty, so she doesn't stop at any of them. >
Sasuke: Huh?
Sasuke: Uh, Sasuke.
Morgan: Jeez, are you still half-asleep? I don't know how you even managed to fall asleep back there, with everything going on.
Sasuke: I can't just waste my energy when nothing's happening.
Sasuke: Have we found food yet?
Morgan: .....No. We haven't found food yet. It might be worth scoping out a house for a place to come back to once we find food, though, that way we can start getting a base of operations set up with a secure place. What do you two think?

Morgan: No need to be rude, you're the one who just showed up out of nowhere.

Eruna: There's no food, but shelter's good, right!?

Eruna: Well yes, I did. I had to scope out the place first.
Morgan: Yeah, let's check if there's another exit on the ground floor, though. Wouldn't want to get stuck if something happens.
Eruna thank you for stating the obvious
Morgan: Grumpy, you can come too, if you want.
Morgan: But you have to be nice.
Eruna holds the door open for Morgan
Morgan: < narrows eyes at > Thank you. < goes through the door to look around >

Morgan: Okay good, there's a back exit, but only a few windows, so we should be able to secure this place pretty well. It's too bad there's no food, but we'll just have to venture out for that later.
Eruna: This house has a kitchen too, so if we do find any food there's a place to put it!
Morgan: .......What house doesn't have a kitchen?
Morgan: Whatever, let's just.... try to settle in for the night. It's getting late.
Eruna: Heeee.
Morgan: You are sleeping on the opposite side of the house from me.
Eruna: Morgan~ I sleep better if I'm sleeping with a cute girl~
Eruna: Aww.
Morgan: Go find some other cute girl if you want to cuddle, I'm not interested.
“I’m Teddie! It’s nice to meet you.” Could this be his first friend in this town? He’s getting off to a good start.
It was a nice day, wasn’t it? Teddie decides to let her lead the way; she knows the town better than he. Not wanting the conversation to trail off, he speaks up as she guides him.
Teddie’s a cute name. She thought to herself as she continued to march on, keeping an eye on the buildings they passed. The canals seemed to be in some kind of order, so it shouldn’t have been difficult to find a restaurant.
“I just got here a few days ago! What about you?”
The farther they kept walking, the more Eruna wondered if they were just in the wrong part of the city to find any kind of food establishment. Pursing her lips, she decided she had a great idea.
“I know we just met, but do you trust me to do something that might be a tiiiiny bit scary?”
Lissa hadn’t gotten the chance to meet her roommate, having spent more time dashing around trying to get Owain to cut the dramatics before he made an idiot of himself, as well as settling in per Naga’s orders. Even though she’s been her days before the other girl, her room was still a mess and there was no way she was going out again until it was finished! It wasn’t befitting of a princess, after all!
Cleaning was the worst, though, and by the time she was finished, Lissa was exhausted. “Phew! Jeez, I didn’t think it would be so hard…I guess I’ve been too pampered up until now…” she mumbled, feeling a little ashamed of herself for how she took all this for granted before now. When she returned to Ylissetol, she was definitely gonna make sure to cut the servants some slack!
Exiting her room, Lissa crossed the hallway to her roommate’s door, taking a deep breath. She was a little nervous about actually meeting the other girl for the first time….but it would be fine, right? After all, her own brother said she could bring a smile and joy to anyone! Clinging to Chrom’s words, Lissa smiled and knocked on the door, calling out to the one on the other side.
“Hey! I’m Lissa! Can I come in and finally say hello properly?”
When she had first arrived at her apartment, it had been unsettling how quiet it was. Despite calling out, she hadn’t gotten any kind of reply. The winged cat hanging over her shoulder looked at her with a confused expression before heading into the apartment and into the only open room.
Following after him, Eruna leaned against the other door across the hall to hear someone furiously cleaning inside. She had read on her phone that she would be staying with another girl, and with the picture on the profile Eruna decided that living with such a cute girl wasn’t a bad thing at all. The only disappointment was that Bimii had hitched along for the ride.
There wouldn’t be any cute girl alone time while the cat was here.
Sighing and tossing her bag onto the floor, she collapsed onto the bed. She didn’t exactly remember how she got to this city, except the fact that she had been packed with a bag and stuck with Bimii when she woke up.
A knock on her door startled her out of her thoughts and she jumped up excitedly, rushing over to open the door as the girl on the other side finished talking.
Ah, just as cute as the picture suggested. She couldn’t help herself, and launched herself towards the girl in the doorway, arms outstreached.
“Hmm, well it’s really nice out, so lets look for a place to eat outside!”
That sounded like a good idea, so she took the boy’s hand and started walking in a random direction. If they followed one of the canals it would be easy to find somewhere, she assumed.
Eruna glance sideways at the taller boy. He was definitely cute in appearance, but the way he acted reminded her a bit of Asuhi-kun. Sort-of like a younger brother. It was refreshing considering Shigure was more like an “older brother” to her.
“Ah! I almost forgot! My name’s Ichinomiya Eruna, but you can just call me Eruna!” She grinned wide.
