âLEAD AND FOLLOWâ
So what does it take to be a leader? Well base from my experience, I was a mayor since i was grade 8-9, a student council president when I was grade 10, and is now assigned to be one of the mayors in our homeroom. When I was younger, I still couldnât imagine my life serving people in the community. And in my long-term service, most of the feedback I heard is, "Having the position or not, you are really a leader.â
If we relate it to the 4 major types of thinking, being analytical, practical, relational, and experimental are also essential and important to be a leader, to lead oneself and others.
For me, leadership is when someone will walk the talk. True leaders are serving for all, not for their own benefits, thus they are selfless and they rise by lifting others. They guide, motivate, inspire, and make more leaders, not followers.
