Have you considered the fact that women *have less opportunities than men* for systemic and historical reasons?

For example, girls spend several hours everyday doing more chores than boys. Girls get discriminated against at every level. School chess clubs are sexist and unwelcoming. Girls tend to get discouraged by parents and teachers when pursuing "non-practical" hobbies.

It turns out that chess is not co-ed and that the best players are still men. And no it's not because "men are inherently smarter" as you put it, society simply enables men to reach levels of mastery that it prohibits women and girls from reaching through the cumulative effects of a lifetime of discrimination. Women's potential overwhelmingly is not nurtured like with Judit Polgár.

We want to protect women's already scarce opportunities, what's wrong with that? This is like arguing that the gender pay gap is due to "women not working as much as men" or "women choose lower paying jobs" when the reality is that "women do all the unpaid labour at home and have less time for their career than men" and "jobs performed by women are systematically devalued and paid less"

You guys think it's funny to blame women for being sabotaged at every step and having less opportunities. We don't care about proving that women are just as smart as men, we already know that. We want to give women, individual women, (you know, actual people in the world and not ideas), the chance to compete and win titles in a world that vastly doesn't nurture their potential. We don't want to disqualify women from competitions just because all the best training and opportunities are still given to men. And yes, it hurts women when males with all their male privilege don't qualify with their fellow males and steal a spot from a woman instead. It's not fair. The woman who gets disqualified just because an entitled man wants a place with women is a real person who just lost a once in a lifetime opportunity because you can't say no to men. You guys' arguments are no different from MRAs: first deny male privilege, then attribute female disadvantage to either laziness or to an inherent flaw.

Giving more opportunities to women is not an admission that they are inferior, it is an admission that they are systemically disadvantaged. This is not even radical feminism, this is good old liberal feminism 101 while it still cared about women. Just pick up any book on closing gaps in pay and opportunities, any feminist book.

The Jeopardy thing is so ridiculous I have to ask for receipts for actual radical feminists' complaints about Amy Schneider being that 'men like trivia more' or 'better reaction time' in a fucking trivia game. For real. The only complaint I've ever heard from radfems, which is a valid one, is that Amy reportedly "made history" for being "the highest-earning woman on Jeopardy." If you can't see why it is offensive for a member of a privileged population to steal a title from a member of a marginalised population (Julia Collins is actually the highest earning female in that game, in case you didn't know) I can't help you here. Just imagine if he had painted his face black and got reported as the highest earning black person. Yeah a nerdy dude won a game dominated by nerdy dudes. Big deal. Women who have dealt with sexism all their lives in nerd spaces have strictly nothing to celebrate.
