Em let out a soft chuckle. “sorry, didn’t mean to scare you.” It never failed to amaze her how pretty Tess could look without even trying. In fact, Em hasn’t seen her having a bad hair or skin day once since they became friends. and Ems have had plenty of those during that time. “what, are you serious?!” the ballerina’s face lit up. “that’s so sweet! thank you.” even if Tess was giving them away because it was stuff she wouldn’t be using herself, it warmed Ems heart knowing she at least thought of her at that moment. “hey, wanna go out for a drink? we could meet up somewhere? or you wanna tag along over to mine for a quick change? ‘cause this” Em gestured down to her outfit with a smirk, she did come straight out of practices. “is not drinks-with-the-girls appropriate.” 

Tessa smiled, glad to see her friend happy. “It’s no problem! Come to the next one sometime we’ll both get ourselves a gift bag.”  “A drink sounds perfect, I was on my way home to have one alone actually but one out with you is way better. I could follow you back if you don’t mind, though you are killing that outfit.” She laughed, Tess knew what she meant but even at practice, it was a cute outsit, which is less than she could say about herself when she went to the gym. Not exactly the same but when she worked out it wasn’t cute. “Are you in the mood for anything special? Me I’m thinking fruity, some sort of umbrella on it or something.” She laughed.

     Exiting the café, her coffee in her hand, Adeline was too focused on her phone and thus not really paying attention to anyone around her. Taking a quick sip of her coffee, she scrolls through the email that Jimmy had just sent her with some more information on their next job. Eyes glued to her screen, she didn’t notice the other person until it was too late. Bumping into the other with her arm, the coffee tipples over right onto her. Letting out a little yelp, Adeline’s attention quickly moves on from her phone and instead onto her now coffee stained clothes. Hot coffee even, to make things worse. “Ouch, ow - okay that’s one way to really wake up…”

Tessa had what felt like a million tabs open in her head, she was mentally going over errands to do, chores waiting at home, and a job tomorrow to worry about she wasn’t as focused on the people around her as she thought she was. By then it was too late and the coffee was spilled. “Oh my god! I’m so sorry! are you alright?” It felt like a stupid question. Of course, they weren’t if she had been dripping fresh coffee, definitely not. “I’m so sorry can I get you a new coffee, outfit, a towel?” She gave a weak smile, joking about the last one but had a handful of napkins ready.

approaching up from behind, Emma grinned looking at the somewhat familiar figures backside. She had heard that this certain someone was looking for her all day so when Ems ballet practices were done for the day that was the first thing she did: finding them. “Word on the street is you got something to show me?!” The person was still facing the other way and now that she was really looking at them up close.. a hint of doubt was creeping in. There’s no way she mistook her friend for a random stranger, right? right. she couldn’t be that blind. “hey, i know I’m freshly sweaty but you were looking for me, very much aware of my schedule, remember?” she joked with a softer tone now, fiddling with her duffel bag  in hands.

Tessa had been walking eyes glued to her phone, which she knew she really shouldn’t be but hey she hadn’t bumped into anyone yet! So when somebody came up behind her she was a bit spooked. Tessa was stunned for a moment remaining silent while her heart went back to normal. “Oh hey wow! yeah of course I was, I have something for you. I went to an opening last night and the goodie bag had some dance stuff in them, nothing special but just thought of you.”

         “My mom just told me vodka and fruit loops doesn’t count as breakfast but… last I checked cereal is breakfast food so… What’s the truth?”

Like together or dry cereal? Together no way, but drinking it why not? Kinda like a mimosa without the juice.

“I could say my new year’s resolution would be to eat healthier,” The brunette started, popping another french fry into her mouth, “but what fun would that be? And besides, french fries are heaven sent.”

"I feel exactly the same way." Tessa smiled, snagging a fry for herself. "Besides if we weren't supposed to have them why are there so many kinds? Curly, steak, sweet potato the list keeps going."

- She was raised in new york by a single father, a famous actor, they’re close now but they weren’t always. With his on location shoots she was left in nyc found community wherever

- no other family to really speak of, never met her mother and has no interest, she’s been bitter about it, protective about her and her father being their own little team and not really needing anyone else

- as a teenager she partied pretty hard, clubs, private parties, had a long-running relationship with tabloids, a socialite party girl basically

- not into that lifestyle anymore, she def attends social events, parties whatever and drinks but like doesn’t go hard on them

- open about her bisexuality, her dad hasn’t always understood but was accepting of her, shes has known since she was a teenager and didn’t have a tough time with it while having an open community around her

- usually attending a family/business/social obligation at least once a week

- found a love for fashion and she started to model young then got more invested as she matured and is now a full-time supermodel 

- lowkey a workaholic doesn’t know when to take a break, probably when a friend makes tells her to

- lives by herself in a higher end apartment in manhattan but loves company hates the empty silence

- single most of her life, she’s seen a lot of people but only had one serious relationship that broke her heart and is now hesitant to give it away but she loves love what can I say
