I use the pronouns he/him/his, and was forged a femme by Primus. I think it was a way to teach me that adversity creates the best bots, and I strive to be a model mech every day. I am what humans call “bisexual”, and in addition to that, “demiromantic”, and have something akin to the condition “autism”. Sari and Bulkhead seem to know all about this stuff, so I’ll continue to be their eager student. (translation: he is an autistic bisexual demiromantic transman )
I’m happy to extend a helping hand or a simple chat with anybot, and firmly believe that freedom is the right of all sentient beings. With that, please use your freedom responsibly and don’t be a bigot; I don’t like my bots getting hurt in any way. - she is super punk rock in a peaceful nice superman 2025 way here it’s awesomesauce. he is not angry. he knows the world is able to be better if we find the root of our problems and fix them without having to resort to violence unless directly provoked. they kinda fear dee for this reason, however close they are; because of how quickly he seems to escalate to violence or brute strength (lately, around the time of the movie) instead of talking it out.

Optimus Prime was optimistic. That was his one best trait, and everyone around him knew that. Everyone around him agreed on that.
It’s just that he cannot always afford, within himself, that optimism. He was burning the candle at both ends, acting like he has no need to dance or sing, or move about, or pore over Archive books for megacycles on end; fuel from his processor’s social circuits depleting like motor oil during a crisis. Optimus was not in prime condition.
The traffic… the honking, HONK! HONK!! HONK!!!
He was trapped in traffic. He was in no particular rush, there were no crimes to stop, no Decepticons invading Detroit— he SHOULD feel fine. But he doesn’t. He has no reason to speed, to break traffic regulations just to get out sooner— after all, rule compliance was his bread and butter. No reason to start up the wailing lights and sirens— he is the leader of the Autobots of Earth! He is stronger than this! He can hold it together in battle, he can hold it together against—!
“MOVE IT, YA LOUSY-DRIVIN’ ASS!” A man called out from his car, blaring out more incessant honking. That just dampened Optimus’ optimistic spark all the more, hearing so, so much noise… his audials couldn’t TAKE it anymore!!
"..Traffic. I've hated it for millennia, and it still haunts me now, even after I've left Cybertron..." Optimus sighs from besides him, keeping his voice at lower frequency in order to keep their conversation out of human ears.
"I must say that Detroit traffic is much louder than anything I've heard in Iacon." He grumbles, engine rattling for a moment before calming.
“…it is,” Optimus’ exhaust pipes seemed to be building up pressure, needing him to exhale the extra gas. When he hears that one Cybertronian voice behind him, the other Optimus, he is comforted— that’s someone who knows his struggle. Who knows what Cybertronian senses are like; even through his fragmented optical sensors he could see those with tail lights on for no reason, or angry families arguing BECAUSE OF the traffic… it wasn’t comfortable, to say the least.
It was like someone’s car alarm was on, and yet, it was somehow a lady with her fist raised out the window with perfect rhythm!
“Here.”
Optimus took a breath. This was stupid; he could’ve gotten more oil for his teammates from Dr. Sumdac or a local gas station, and snacks for Sari from a convenience store— instead, he went above and beyond off to who-knows-where because he saw a fancy place on TV. And he just HAD to drag his other self along, because he thought this would be one big adventure.
“Welcome to Detroit, Optimus Prime. Y-You’ll… be okay, this is normal along their roads.”
